Bingo. Just how many games will actually be able to push through that frame rate at that resolution?

Deluxe Edition is on cdkeys for £8.99. Think I might nab it.... Standard - £5.99

    Battlefield 1

Lol - no. Just f*ck off! The amount of jihad-jeeps they had way back in BF2 was annoying enough! I would have thought EA/DICE would have sorted that by now.

Help needed on Next Stages of my track day 172 Cup

Definitely can relate to this. Had a set of 15s on mine for about a week - just using them for daily commuting. Made a significant improvement to how the 182 'felt' to me. On track, I'd assume this difference is even more pronounced?

Nice! I surprised at hold old those planes are. Iirc, these were the aircraft that kick-started the drive for the US to re-arm their aircraft with guns after the utter failure of missile-only planes in Vietnam. The Luftwaffe operated a fair few of these too.

    StarCraft Remastered - for free

Worth seeing why so many Koreans are still addicted, some 19 years after it's release.... ;) https://starcraft.com/en-us/articles/20674424

    Star Wars Battlefront

Yeah - I tend not to be an early adopter of EA stuff. I only got the Season Pass last Christmas as it was in a flash sale on cdkeys for about a tenner. Otherwise - no chance!

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

That can be an issue. However, the accuracy taken up with the mouse is sublime. Once you get your head around it, the slick and smooth operation of targeting with a mouse becomes second nature. Just in the same way that in driving games, a wheel is far more subtle and specific with steering...

    Star Wars Battlefront

Seems to be a bone of contention that. Personally, I love single player campaigns in FPSs - they are pretty much exclusively what I play on any of the COD games. Yet other players don't even fire them up and are purely focused on multiplayer only. I also have a liking for player vs bots options...

    Star Wars Battlefront

I think that's one of the things that really works for me in the existing game. I'm regularly around the 30% of kills through headshots alone - the fact that you're firing linear laser beams rather than shells that can randomly go anywhere - makes accuracy more, erm, .....accurate. I pretty...

    Battlefield 1

The sniping issue behind a rock is similar to the one I've had when firing from a parapet - the round is probably hitting the stonework a foot to the side of me, rather than the bloody enemy that I'm looking at down the sights. Game loading times? Yep - even on a PC installed on an SSD - it...

I'd be interested to hear what you don't like about it as well. Simply because I don't like it either. We can be BF1 Haterz together...

    Quixx Headlight Restoration Kit

Lol - you beat me to it. The starter grit in the kit is 2,000... I honestly thought that the manual method would be a right PITA, but it was all straggly-forward enough. I've got a Porta-Cable too - so might try Knuckles's suggestion at a later date.

    Quixx Headlight Restoration Kit

Interesting responses guys. I've tried the 3M kit (twice) with little benefit - actually I thought the first attempt was a waste of money. I put it down mainly to my technique and the fact that I just couldn't get on with the circular pad on the drill - in terms of having proper control. I...

ClioSport.net Project Cars Time Trial Challenge - April

That's the key - it's the long sweeping corners that you mention that are so difficult with a pad.

    S3 to 182 owner

Welcome aboard! How's the 182 in terms of condition? Does it need anything doing straight away? I take it you've already had a heads-up regarding the belts on the RS Clios? And probably by now, the driveshafts will be past their best - though thankfully you'll be down to just two from your...
