just to let u know iv been using the BT gps receiver quite a bit now and it is brilliant. locks on within 30secs from cold even on the passenger seat!

my mates got same gps receiver and it works fine in the small part of teh windscreen at the bottom. looks like the tomtom comes with an AC charger but not a car one. £93 aint bad tho! a few reviews of some others here...

maybe, but this one i got got better reviews on gps world and was £30 cheaper so went for this one instead. came with car charger and house charger ull find the tomtom one doesnt come with a charger either so another £20 for one of them :-(

just to note, tomtom mobile says it will only work with a tomtom gps receiver, but u can install a patch that allow it to work with others too!!

iv got the RIKALINE 6030 receiver. Works spot on. picked satalites up this morning within 30 seconds from cold, and i had it on my passenger seat with about 6 locks on with a strong signal! they are £130 on the internet but i got mine brand new from a dealer on ebay for £70

^^ lol. u33db, the task is to beat my 15.2 then pal! that was on 16s on hottest day of summer last year so i reckon u should do ok!

iv put door cards and carpet back in lately! didnt like driving the car daily stripped out the the max, so its a bit comfier now. they weigh sod all anyway! iv got a cage to go in, just thinking about the extra 20kg(ish) of weight!!

i weighed about 70kg of crap just from the back and boot, spare etc.

my amtes got an xsi. i drove it when it was standard and it had a lot of low down torque, expected really 2.0 8v. hes since had it made into a 2.1 litre monster! they are heavy cars tho, try opening a bonnet on one and ull see what i mean, they weight a fukin ton!
