@Brigsy, that worked fine, I assume that means that it's leaking fuel back to to the tank when it's stopped and the excessive cranking is the fuel pump having to build pressure whilst cranking? Where is the fuel pressure regulator on the F4R? Are they a common failure point? Thanks

Interesting, I had 2s on a hybrid bora and then 2s and 3s on the 330D and didnt hang around, but I've never had them do that!

Ok, so I need a connects 2 which is £30 or so and then a bluetooth handsfree such as Anker Soundsync, or I guess go with an aftermarket headunit, but that loses the dash LCD and steering stalks unless there is a compatible adaptor cable.... Are the stereo connections standard ISO plugs?

Dave, how does this work? By the look of your install, you're only using USB for power? And the soundsync then sends the music to the headunit via the aux in?

Good to know what was in the originally, my set had no markings on the bearings and failed after little use so I replaced them based on dimensions and purchased the ones with lip seals to try and prevent dirt ingress (the standard washers dont do a great job).

The unsprung weight is important and you'll gain with the calipers too, but the rotational inertia of the disks under both acceleration and braking is a substantional gain too! Bigger pads should give better heat handing ability, but wont actually affect your braking power.
