@Brigsy, that worked fine, I assume that means that it's leaking fuel back to to the tank when it's stopped and the excessive cranking is the fuel pump having to build pressure whilst cranking?
Where is the fuel pressure regulator on the F4R? Are they a common failure point?

I've checked the bulbs and they are ok, checked for power in the plugs, nothing.
I've confirmed power at the fuse on the passenger end of the dash, and the indicator lamp on the dash illuminates.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing where it goes inbetween? Thanks

So as far as I see it, I have two options, either add an aux in to the existing headunit, or install an aftermarket headunit.
To install aux on the existing one, I need CTVRNX001 which plugs in in lieu of the CD changer (blue blug), and allows me to input a signal...
@Louis This is the adaptor for adding an aux in to the existing headunit I believe, 3.5mm jack on one end and the CD changer style plug on the other with an interface box

Ok, so I need a connects 2 which is £30 or so and then a bluetooth handsfree such as Anker Soundsync, or I guess go with an aftermarket headunit, but that loses the dash LCD and steering stalks unless there is a compatible adaptor cable....
Are the stereo connections standard ISO plugs?
Dave, how does this work? By the look of your install, you're only using USB for power? And the soundsync then sends the music to the headunit via the aux in?
Good to know what was in the originally, my set had no markings on the bearings and failed after little use so I replaced them based on dimensions and purchased the ones with lip seals to try and prevent dirt ingress (the standard washers dont do a great job).
@ripp I rebuilt mine with GEH20ES-2RS SKF Spherical Bearing 20mm Steel/Steel from Wych Bearings, but I'm sure you can find a local supplier in your country.

So I did a little reading yesterday regarding fitting an aux in cable to the clio sport headunits and it was suggested that you needed to know which type of headunit you had, and that there should be an empty socket on the back, adjacent to the yellow plug.
I pulled mine out of the dash this...
I have a 2002 Ph2 Clio 172 (just purchases) and the remote fob isnt working.
I checked for a red light on the fob and there isnt one, so I assume the battery has died. I'll get a replacement at lunch and then check the common solder connections.
I then checked both door locks and these work...
So reviving this, because I want to do the same thing...
I only need to enable cruise and have the speed hold function really so where do I need to feed 12v and what resistance do I need to switch accross the two wires shown?

Looking at the cost of some of the retrofit bits makes me grimace. If one was prepared to do without the features like adjusting speed up and down, or recalling the last speed and instead just wanted to option to "hold current speed", I assume things could be simplified considerably?

The unsprung weight is important and you'll gain with the calipers too, but the rotational inertia of the disks under both acceleration and braking is a substantional gain too!
Bigger pads should give better heat handing ability, but wont actually affect your braking power.
