Yeah mine too has freeview hd as well, tbh use sky most of the time but the freesat does come in handy for the iplayer. I ran a feed from my sky dish to my tv peice of piss really.

ended up cancelling my hd sub, apparently there are no HD offer's on at the moment. Plus the fact my sky sub is going up £3 per month is a joke to say the least.

have you thought about the renault tunepoint thing? u can plug in ipod, usb stick, hard drive etc. I have one in mine and use a 16gb stick works a treat.

I have got the new G20 42" series pana with freeview HD and Freesat HD, an awesome bit of kit with 5 year warranty as well :) can't fault Panasonic at all been using the for well over 10 years now and no problems at all.

I have just got the G20 superb tv, freeview HD, freesat and iplayer to name a few of the tricks also 5 year warranty :)

They do just normal Sky + packages however they only now use the HD box. So if you don't sub to HD pack you will only get free to air HD channels eg ITV, BBC and C4.

I have been looking in to this for myself, basically the magic eye thing goes between the aerial and the tv in the room which you want it. It will play whatever you are currently watching be it live tv or something you have recorded. have a look on ebay there are good kits with a geniuie sky...
