Ambers make it and you know it.

Yeah it does help that these have the correct sized tyre as well. When ive cleaned it it'll look even better!
Cheers, windows and doors are pretty shoddy quality and the company who makes them went out of business just about the time our houses were...
There are three options to own a V70R in the UK:
A - Buy a UK car, they all have moon mileage and have been dicked with. Thats if you can find one.
B - Buy an already imported one, for several thousand £'s more from some dodgy dealership up north who appear to get it registered in...
The Boxster didn’t officially lose them until the 2002 Facelift according to Wikipedia. But sooo many owners have retrofitted. That’s why the smoked/ clear lights go for so much more.
The lights on the 911 are extremely subtly different in that the pattern around the lens is in a diamond shape...
You're not alone in the 90's nostalgia boner, judging by the values of some things over the past few years.
Ians 50th birthday treat is the perfect way of putting it. The Sport design wheels also can be filed under that.
I joined the 996 UK Facebook group and theres a lot of lovely, well...
I didn’t think it was possible to be so wrong. But here we are.
If we all liked the same thing it would be boring. I’m glad people prefer the grey/clear lights anyway, as I just sold the rear lights for over double whatI paid for the orange ones 😂
The reason Porsche changed from amber to grey...
I wanted a wheel that felt good without looking too out of place. I’ve always liked the personal wheels and it doesn’t disappoint.
I had The three spoke Porsche one on my Boxster and it was “okay”. They go for £400-500 and it wasn’t worth it to me. Since I already had a boss on the column it...
A lot of later cars had much more "Same colour" trim, mine has the black bits to break it up a bit at least.
I also started fitting the Gingerness back. Unfortunately Im having to return the headlights as they were sent in a back with a bit of bubblewrap, therefore are fucked. I've already...
The aerokit is something I would've liked, but alas I couldnt have it all! Some days I do prefer the simpler shape but the Aerokit is undoubtably the more interesting car to look at. As per a previous post, the CSR looks mega but I'd probaby go for no wing at all!
The prices have crept up in...
super chuffed with this! Personal wheel looks mega, and more importantly feels great too. Don’t know why people cheap out on steering wheels when you literally have to hold it the entire time you’re driving.
Dude it shocks me how many Porsche owners run with ancient tyres. There are a few sets of the wheels I like advertised with “great” tyres on them. Zoom in, all the dates are like 2008. Brilliant!
Whilst this post mostly slags off my taste in cars... I did enjoy it 😂.
I think it’s a great looking thing. Think I’ll have to go full Gone in 60 Seconds spec with wheels?
Difficult to have a full opinion so early on. But so far I’m pleased. As I say it feels quite raw, the steering is very direct as well. Always loved the way Porsche weights it’s controls as well (pedals, wheel, shifter).
Doesn’t scare me actually. Which is probably not a good thing... hasn’t...
The turbo or GT2 probably. But they are the 996.2, even the 996.1 turbo had the facelift headlights before the 996.2 put them on across the range. With the headlights like mine it was probably the GT3? About 360bhp and it used the metzger engine, quite a beast they’re around £50k upwards. Your...
I’ve never been a fan of the fast 4wd auto box crowd of hatches myself, but it’s something that concerned me also. I didn’t want “the dream” to be a let down.
I think the swap from a M2 Comp to a 2005 Clio 182 was a bit of an eye opener. I’d spent a few years in faster, newer stuff an it made...
They’re “Sport” optional wheels, same as the Gen 1 GT3. I was going to change them but cba till after winter. It doesn’t help the tyres are too small for them, it gives it a bit of a stretched look which doesn’t suit them at all.
The fact the tyres are date stamped 2013 should be why I change...
