Do you understand the model range well, specifically the differences between CUP, non-CUP and cars with CUP packs?

Yeah much more comfortable and safer. All about personal safety, fook everybody else. If you've got a suit, go for it. My mate went to my track day in his full race kit. There's only a few seconds a lap difference, anyway, so it's going to hurt either way.

They usually come with the spring - see a picture of something similar. The factory springs had a clear piece of sleeve fitted both ends of the coil.
I have the Eibach Pro_kit springs on mine and they don't have them as standard, so i bought some plastic sleeves off eBay. Just to stop the end...
I had a mare with mine - lost the locking key - I had the floating collar design. You might be able to hammer a socket over that or use one of those locking wheel nut removal sockets from Amazon.
It might help if you torque the other bolts up a bit more first before you try it.

Do your springs still have the coil isolators (plastic spring sleeves) intact?
They serve multiple purposes - mainly noise reduction - stops the metal on the spring tips and damper from coming into contact with each other. They also help with Vibration dampening, spring wear and corrosion.
I had mine done by them. I’d give them a 6/10. I ended up cleaning my old ones up as the belts wouldn’t retract properly and the material didn’t feel quite right.
