Just buy a second hand unit off eBay they only go for £20 or so.
A hole in the fuel lines can also cause this so have a good check of the pipes whilst it’s running too.
Yeah I guess there is that.
Tho I’ve got the 1/2 version and tbh I hardly ever use it.
The stubby’s such a good tool, I’m always impressed at how much power it has, cracked off some thread locked caliper bolts today no issues.
Didn’t get any pictures because of dodging the rain but changed the front discs and pads on this today.
I really should have noticed this earlier but as you can see in this picture the last owner had fitted rear discs to the front.
I was mm away from the pads touching and having no brakes, so...
Unfortunately to most folks it’s just a Clio and finding decent buyers is few and far between.
As Kyle mentioned you will get a lot of people messing you about I dunno if it’s because Clio’s are cheap but some of them are thick as s**t as well.
Once had a guy turn up on a moped to pick up a...
Having stripped a few sports over the years the demand for parts other than the running gear is generally quite low, you’d struggle to give it away a lot of the time.
I personally don’t think it’s worth the hassle to strip it given it doesn’t have any of the high value components on the sports.
It’s the mk3 shitter and I’d have to take the whole exhaust off as it’s one piece and the rear brake lines which is a hassle just to swap the pump.
If it was a mk2 it’d be a piece of piss to change I cannot fathom why Renault decided to make the access hole smaller on the mk3. Bloody French.
I...
Anybody used a reasonably cheap metal sheer like below?
The fuel pumps messing me around on the mk3 and Renault in there infinite wisdom decided it was a tank off job to replace.
Which I cba with so I’m just going to cut the access hole larger but want something that’s not going to spark...
Ah then it’s probably an injector, you can swap the injector for cylinder 4 to another cylinder and see if the misfire moves to confirm that’s the issue.
Likely the lambda sensor in front of the cat it controls fuel trim.
The sensor after the cat is there to see if the cats working and doesn’t effect fueling.
Swap the plugs around and see if the misfire follows.
If it stays on cylinder 3 then you can swap the injectors round to see if that’s the issue.
If it still stays on 3 then coil pack.
I imagine lots of folk know this already but figured out the other day you can fit a normal hacksaw blade to a recip saw.
Real handy if you need to bend round a corner slightly to get down a tight gap.
Post a picture of the sensor as I’m not sure which one you mean.
If the radiator is leaking then it needs replacing.
The dashboard lights indicate a fault and are putting the car into limp mode hence the poor throttle response.
