Anyone else had issues with the Hero 2? Mine today was recording for a maximum 5seconds then stopping or recording for 2/3 seconds then freezing - had to remove the battery to reset it!! Read a fair bit on't web about firmware etc and did a few of the recommendations (reinstalling firmware and...
We left the tent there first year... After pulling it to bits with Tom's Lolvo and throwing stuff at it. Dragged mike away before it was introduced to fire...
Blighty I think it looks superb. Perforated leather looks smart and is a nice detail (hence why it's used on steering wheels in Nissan Navaras, Corsa's, tractors and a million other vehicles...)
Also can't help but think that linking a 'rival' company into this thread is pretty unnecessary...
Yes.. Lol :) we went for a razz in Houx Annex, took a right into the open space in the middle. Turns out it was empty for a reason... We got about 6m and then stuck. No pushing or reversing could get us out. Luckily a random van with a rope appeared and they towed us out... F*ck waking the angry...
Sounds like Houx Annex... No power and was like the Somme last year there with a huge muddy hole in the middle which Budgie and I found late Sunday night...
That interior is incredible - been using the forklift all day and my hands were flithy! Wore gloves whilst moving fertiliser so it was the controls that were grubby!!!
Tractor driving is always exiting - especially at night with the lights on during a busy harvest!
Quite like the autodrive dial, gearbox just feels a bit slow but that's after mostly using a JD 190R for a few weeks.. The place I worked in Northampton had a Massey with the Vario (?) transmission which was completely clutchless and similar to the JD box's.
The new breed of tractors are...
Yup a 6480. Not a bad tractor although not keen on the dyna 6 box. It's been on the spreader hence huge (ex combine) tyres! More of a John Deere chap really..
I'm on the second year of my year out from uni - go back to do my MA in September and farm work is a good earner (did it every summer at...
Jesus that's clean.. Too clean for a tractor... ;)
The Massey I'm currently using gets a pressure wash an a dirty yard brush once a week....!
(And that's not our horrible crew yard but we were having their muck..)
Because we're epic/1st tickets most loyal customers/utilise the plot all weekend etc etc
Other southerners should definitely tag along. Then they won't complain when they don't feature in this ears LM video...
Ordered a new housing and stereo
Mic for my Hero 2. Just finished drilling a hole in the case so its a nice snug fit... Will find out this afternoon if it improves wind noise etc...
Well hopefully this time Failsport will ignore the oldies in the 525 and not go through Rouen on the way back anyway and therefore not miss our ferry....
These are just a few i took on our 5 month tour we just got back from (still going through the 6000 i took...!)
To be honest I was taking more 'holiday snaps' rather than setting lots up and never bothered with my tripod!! So these aren't necessarily tecnically great - and my sensor/lens is in...

This is what I was talking about.
It also looks like cases have got cheaper for the Hero 2 so I'm going to get one to hack up and hopefully imprezaworks has had some success with...
My HD2 came with a white rubber tab that slots into the bit you pinch to release from the stick tab mounts so solve this exact problem - can probably get them in the bay.. Anti vibration rubber insert or something perhaps?
They're so intuitive to use - it might be worth buying a few hours of Genius Bar/Apple store lessons (can't remember its name!) to get to grips with the basics and learn some of the features. They also do a session on iMovie etc which could be useful!
Once you buy one you'll wonder why you ever...
