I think this is a common thing with Renault. My 197 alloys are corroded but I'm out of warranty now. I bought the car before the warranty ran out and had plenty of work done including new Brembo's. You need a garage that will fight your cause.

My 197 is the same. Probably need a remap to remove the flat spot. Gives the engine character so when I get to 3000rpm > :race:

On a separate note Rob, have you got the nice shiny plastic insert for your steering wheel as I have a spare if you want one. PM me if you are interested.

Great colour for the R32. Looks very classy. Like the interior colour as well but it must be hard to keep clean. Very close to 300% chairs there too

It is not standard on the 197 cup. Don't know why some others are saying yes to all. I get someone else to turn the knobs for me :rasp:

Looks in great condition. I prefered the wheels that came with the car but didn't realise that they were 17s. Standard is also good.

Where do you get your oil from? I have bought fully synth 5/40 from Halfords. I know it's not their oil and I think it's a premium brand in a different bottle but can't remember which. Price is reasonable from them and I haven't had any problems.

Looks very good. like the wheels and the ride height is fine. As a suggestion, why don't you spray the side stripes black to match the wheels?

I think its the same engine in 172/182/197/200. Each car is a development of the same lump.

I would check ebay or something similar. You will probably end up with something around £150 if the tyres are ok.

I drove it in a transit minibus. One of the most fun drives ever, but not for the passengers when I had to reverse to get a better run up some of the hills.

Answer to question = 30 miles on my 197.

Sat in a Meg today (some ipod varient not a sport) and it is a very nice place to be if you sit in the front. Love the dash. If you sit in the back, it will be a bit claustrophobic and you can't see sh1t out the back window, but it still looks the nuts IMO
