When you did this did it beep when you got out and locked it? As if the internal sensors are off the alarm should beep to inform you that they are off.

When at a meet a while back someone was inside a 197 and set the alarm off but from the outside you could hardly hear the alarm which was rather concerning. I have a Viper 480VX on my 182 and it is certainly loud enough and is a very good alarm.

Doesn't seem bad, but I've already got a TomTom 720 and I've not heard anyone really rate the sat nav from Road Angel, though it does mean I have to carry around both devices now.

Just bought one of these from the Road Angel site as I couldn't find a shop that sold the connected version so time will tell how good it is. 'll update the thread when I've used it a bit.

Let them know and make sure they know it's a CAT1 alarm and it may well mean you get some money back (maybe not as well ;))

Both are fine, the 30 secs is to make it CAT1...it's the immobiliser cutting in. The other is to stop people hi-jacking your car at traffic lights for example, should unlock if you open a door from the inside or turn the electrics off by the key.

Have you got one yourself? I presume from threads I've seen you might have. If you have did you get it from the Road Angel website?

Think I might end up getting this (not had a gadget for a while :)). Saw the Professional version in Halfords yesterday which is cosmetically the same and it was quite small compared to the pictures that I've seen of it. It's about the same, if not a bit smaller than the Road Angel Plus.

That's the sort of position mine is in (different alarm).

No problems moving it, I had mine moved when the Maxogen went in.
