I can find myself falling into the tank/anti-tank role with this. Such a role, or that of the engineer, has always been my favourite. They tend to be the more ignored classes within BF and as such, can make a real difference to your team when the opposition uses lots of vehicles. Nothing is...
I've always found sniping to be an art-form in the BF games - one that I'm never really good at. I'm glad they make it tricky though - on else we'd just have sniping wars on every map.
I know what you mean - a couple of lads in the office think its amazing.
Ironically, I played most of the first game. Then did little else in the second game other than several rounds in the arena. Now even less in the third installment. If I compare this to the Mass Effect trilogy, I literally...
Why can't I get motivated to play this?
It's weird - I literally start in that room with the balcony - look out to the amazing scenery and then simply switch it off!
I wonder if it's the same feeling you get when a thousand page novel is at the side of you and everyone says it's awesome?
Only played a bit of the campaign so far. It has to be the first FPS game that I've ever played where you get to fly as a pidgeon!
So far so good though - it does feel quite intense. Strangely, I'm having trouble picking up weapons? It defaults to MMB, but that doesn't appear to work?
Looks superb with the PS drop above.
It's almost like you wouldn't have to hoon it around everywhere. No one would be daft enough to take it on. Just trundle on by to the backing vocals of the hooooooge force-fed V8.
10+ year old thread revamp.
Turned out to be the most committed I've ever been to an FPS - thoroughly enjoyable, yet to be bettered game of awesomeness.
Great maps, brilliant game modes. Sensible unlocks and years before the pay-to-win mentality had even spawned. A more than worthy...
Rush Mode on the old Battlefield Bad Company 2 was my favourite game mode. I'm hoping this will be/is similar?
Had a look on Origin for the PC version of this. £49.99 for the standard edition - £104 for the one with the season pass - flol.
Could be dampers as @Dom_capper says - especially the rears. Tell-tail banging and wallowy ride from the rear are dead giveaways. Thankfully they are cheap to buy and a piece of piss to replace at the back. The fronts are a little more tricky.
I know what @bloke is saying too. Not had that...
I had similar power in the VI. Although the car itself was extremely capable (far better than my abilities, anyway) - the weight increase could always be 'felt' over the 182. I've never tracked the Clio, but pushing on a decent A-road, its more nimble and arguably forgiving in some ways...
I went down the Extreme route on my first i7, nabbing it for £120 a good few years ago and superseding the 930 I had in at the time. A bit wasted on me really as 99% of the time it was used purely as a gaming PC. Though being able to do 4Ghz straight out of the box for a 2008 spec CPU is pretty...
Don't forget that unless you cut into the fabricated spoiler to allow for your aerial, the standard 182 boot struts will push the spoiler into it. To 'properly' do it - you'll need a pair of Trophy/V6 boot struts.
Just check that your's doesn't follow that ridiculous trend of soldering memory to motherboards. Apple started it and I've see HP following suit. You might have 8GB now, but unfortunately that is what you'll be stuck with - assuming this is the case?
That's done it. A proverbial cavalry of CS blokes wanting to help out will now be on their way..... ;)
The alternator is never a straight-forward fix. Luckily I had mine replaced while the cambelt was being done and the front bumper was off anyway.
Got it from cdkeys last week at £18.99. Only as far as the bear at the minute, but really liking it. Glad they got rid of that stupid left, right, left action when climbing with the ice axe from the previous game.
