Well, I came SO close to installing BF1 at the weekend. Something just doesn't work with me and the game. I don't know if it's lag, the game engine or something else.
I jumped in the middle of a round and finished with a K/D of 1/9. The next one wasn't much better - I think I got 6 kills in...
Not quite m8. I had my aux kit replaced at the 36k service interval by them and then went back a few years later on an RR day when the car was north of 60k and had already had its cambelt changed by then.
I also appreciate garages that seem 'interested' in you and your car. I don't mean smarmy...
If you can't get a code reader yourself - bite the bullet and book it in with your local Renault dealership.
They will be able to tell you what's wrong (along with a complete shopping list of faults) for about £25-£30. That's how I found out about my upstream oxygen sensor being on the blink...
Loads of positive feedback about these, but I doubt I'd go again. The biggest issue I had was that I'd arranged a day to work over at the Leeds depot while my car was having the auxiliary belt and 36k service done. I'd booked this weeks in advance - phoned and confirmed with them two days prior...
Was the Windows installation a clean one? Or one that came pre-built with the PC - with a million-and-one bits of manufacturer specific app crap?
I really wouldn't be using a Mac for high-end gaming. Low-end stuff, maybe. But don't expect to be playing the likes of BF1 in high detail.
On a serious note m8 - for the kind of work you do, would that kind of card really improve your workload?
Would your work necessarily have to be 'nVidia friendly' with what was being written?
:)
New tech - enterprise spec. Although way out of the reach of 99% of PC gamers - there will be the odd one out there that will buy one of those. Personally, I'd like to see how Windows 10 and a couple of games perform when installed on that.
If you were going for speed bragging rights, purely - you should have pre-ordered one of these..... ;)

Definitely. On my last reformat, I tried both. Two 7,200rpm SATAs in RAID0 and a single SSD. The single SSD trounced the dual SATAs in everything - loading times for Windows, launching times of the games itself, etc.
If your new motherboard can support M.2 drives - go for one of those instead...
Do you have breakdown recovery perhaps through your bank instead?
We've got Greenlight cover through our bank - but be careful where you call to say the car currently is. If it's at home, the furthest the recovery truck would take mine was within a 20 miles radius to a garage. When I called...
I'd add to that. The local Renault garage took three attempts to get my alternator right. Then had the cheek to say that it "had cost them" when I complained that the final bill was way too high.
Oh. And they also lost my under-tray and reattached the front bumper with just two bolts.
For all...
BF1 made my piss boil earlier. I don't think I've ever been as frustrated with an online BF game as this.
Caught one enemy AFK, stood about 20ft away. Nealt down scoped the Lewis and hit him three times (to which he didn't die) when his m8 popped up beside him and single pistol shot me dead.
I...
It is one of the silly aspects of Apple products - the lack of easily upgradeable space.
That said, it helps me maintain the device(s) free from clutter! Will be interesting if such a device you mention, works well?
It can do. But no pad matches the accuracy and scoping of enemies for the bow than K&M.
Just a shame the ammo type changes are far less fluid. They should be slick and immediate - something that has clearly been honed for a pad only.
The previous TR game was the only one I completed - even going as far back as the original PS1 days.
It was a brilliant game, but more because it struck a chord with me with its background story and setting.
The current game clearly follows a similar mould. Once I get my head around the...
Sounds like you got the best of both worlds. A tidy car on the aesthetics, but one that needed attention that you're happy to get stuck in with. If you weren't an expert as removing seized bolts, it appears that you are now!
As with all RS models, I think the 197 really suits a nice drop in...
For me, it's probably Wasteland 2. Although strictly not a 2016 game, the 'final' release of it with the revised graphics engine was started by me, this year.
It remained true to the original format of WL1. Added dialogue to characters that you actually cared for and had a story that was...
I'm on PC m8. It is the internet that's acting up too. Just watching some Amazon Prime up to about 20 mins ago and it just bombed out. Used to be stable as anything when on a mere 6MB. Now we're on about 10MB and it's up and down all over the place.
Not properly investigated it yet, but...
Yep - I think they are the same from the BF4 days.
A good, simple description of the icons are here....

I like how you can come top on score without aiming to get the most kills. They are clearly trying to promote objectives and team work as being more important than going all Rambo.
My internet is pissing me off though. If it could suffer from it, I'm sure my monitor would have screen-burn from...
