Another thing to try, if you have a welder to hand. Keep welding small welds on the broken nut allow to cool and repeat until the weld is big enough to grab with a pair of mole grips etc.

Would have thought someone would have made a conversion plug so the renault changer would work with other HU.

My dads clio had his dash replaced last week ( W reg 1.4s) it was on 33000 now its 0 rofl. I even checked with Mike172 on here to confirm that renault cant put the mileage right.

Hi peeps My dad has 1.4s W reg clio. Last week the speedo stopped working and consquently the mileage stopped as well, although it is displaying the mileage. He took it to our local renault speicalist garage and they thought it may be a sensor on the gear box so they replaced it but no luck...

m8 I would get the drivers airbag working, its one thing not having a seat airbag. Its another thing when you have a head on smash with no drivers airbag. [Edited by Storm_Force on 21 May 2005 at 11:27pm]

What caused the airbag to go off? Would get it professsionally sorted out.

It circulates the air past the temp sensor I think, It would probably still work but you may the climate control may not regulate the temperature as well

Yeah mine does it at well, doesnt bother me though as its only noticeable when stationary and with the stereo off.

Cat C= REPAIRABLE but repair costs exceed the vehicle’s pre accident value (PAV) So it must have been one hell of a crash!
