I have Steam beta all installed but I notice that certain games cannot be installed to my other drive. I bout the THQ Humble Bundle and the majority of those games want to install themselves on C drive which is my SSD and is not that big.
Is there a reason for that??
To touch a bit more on the above post the standard Xigmatek fan is a 120mm fan which appears to run at 1200rpm according to Speedfan.
The Sickleflow runs at 1850-1900rpm and when the front panel of the Xigmatek is off its not too bad noise wise. But as soon as the front panel is put on fcuk me...
Yep Installed last night and all sorted.
Only Issue I have now is the new Coolermaster fans I bought are pretty damn loud :o might have to purchase a fan controller or go PWM

Or I bought this mobo recently...
Yeah thats my thinking.
Typical that would happen really but I dont want to be without a PSU whilst the GS700 goes back to Corsair...thats why I bought the Antec and decided to RMA through Ebuyer.
Id only be making 30 or so quid though by the time I send it back to the Holland
Another update and a bit of a debacle here..
So I order the Antec 620W and that turns up today.
Corsair have just emailed me to say that because of the known faults with the gaming series PSU's they are offering me the HX750 Modular PSU if I send the GS700 back to them.
My Debacle is...send...
Update..
Bought this PSU from Ebuyer, once that has come they are happy to take the Corsair back and refund me. Was quite painless actually although did take me 15 mins on the phone to get through.
Might of bought some gay blue coolermaster fans to make it look pretty :o
Got myself a Samsung Syncmaster 2433.
Was being thrown out at work as the screen was rather dull and as soon as any sort of feed from VGA or DVI was plugged in the screen would turn off. Thing is it wasn't turning fully off...only the backlights were turning off, you could still make stuff out...
^^^ Thats why im thinking I can get a good speed out of mine as I have the same cooler. IT doesn't get above 30 odd degrees at the minute playing FarCry 3
Any decent guides to look at/read up on?? I have a tool with my GigaByte Mobo that can automatically do an overclock but Im gonna guess it wont be as good as doing it manually??
Who else make good PSU's?? Im not going to get another Corsair, Ideally want a modular one that I can remove cables from as its a pain in the arse having 10 odd wires left over and having to hide them and tie them all up.
So yeah since moving into the new house I have been with SKY but not with SKY (On the connect service as they didnt have any LLU to SKY in my local exchange)
I would struggle to get above 3-4 meg out of BT's kit.."Thats the maximum speed your line can handle sir" No im 800 metres from the...
So yeah been up for a while and have a new monitor now.
Had this really annoying noise coming from the PC though ever since it was built. Was an annoying rattling type noise and seemed to be from GPU. Bzzz bzz bzzz brzzz Was always up at temperature when the GPU was running. "Fcuking GPU shut...
^^^ Similar to the above but I was with SKY since moving into my new house...but on their "connect" service which basically ment SKY didn't have any kit in our exchange and I was using BT's DSLAMS etc. Speed of my line struggled to get above 2meg and upload 300k if I was lucky (im 800 metres...
