I run skyrim with nexus mods. Can't remember what texture pack I'm running though but compared to the standard Bethesda HD ones they are better. The night sky looks solo much better
Edit this is what I am using...

Any better ones??
My D5 pump is making a noise , in fact it has done since I got it but just ignored it as I had it set at speed 1. But I sat down tonight and spent a bit of time playing with pump speed and noticed that at about speed 3 it gives me over 1 degree drop in loop temperature.
But its got an...
My "monster" (monster as in Stupidly big) watercooled PC I built recently cost a little over the price of a steam box.
I think my machine has better specs then the steam box too.
Ha I do the same.
I almost bought a 3 screen eyefinity set-up from overclockers that would have cost the best part of £500 including a stand.
I decided getting the cambelt done on the Subaru is/was a little bit more important!
Been playing with over clocks.
Currently have my i5 at 4.6ghz with voltage of 1.275 according to the MSI control centre....yet I have it set to 1.265 in BIOS??? Weird
Appears stable and Max temp whilst using prime is 55 so far.
What other stress testing stuff is there??
I've given up on this already on PC. Every game I have been in has hackorz.
Plus singleplayer lags and is totally unstable on my high end machine .
Turning stuff down like graphics doesn't even help. BF4 is solid and stresses my machine more rather then just breaking it.
PC version is riddled with hackorz and generally laggy as hell online. Haven't played singleplayer yet.
I only bought it as it was cheap on steam (£25) but not sure if I like it yet. Bf4 I bought as well and that is pretty good in comparison.
I've got last years 42" smart model that is high on 100% same as this.
YouTube app is slow yes and maybe the interface to linking up to a media server could be quicker and smoother but apart from that its been spot on...energy use of an led is nuts in comparison to my old plasma.
There...
Picks up BF4 yesterday as it was £26 for the digital deluxe on origin.
Had a quick play and seems nice and stable at 120fps on ultra. Haven't played singleplayer yet and really need to get my finger out and wire up some Ethernet points in my house... Wireless is a pain.
Yeah I picked that up yesterday...as well as cod.ghosts. which is a right pain as can't play singleplayer until MultiPlayer has downloaded....27 odd gb for MP!!
I have thought about springs a lot...I said I wasn't going to do anything to this car but Now I have decided I will :o
Spec is pretty meh TBH
RaceDynamix ECU remap
Walbro fuel pump
Green cotton panel air filter
Exhaust - WR sport back box with resonated decat midpipe (main & pre cat still in...
I was tempted by a saloon version but opted for a wagon instead.
I'm about to "car berry" my wagon myself....mapped the evo myself and that was good fun! :)
For those who play skyrim (on PC of course)
What textures do you use to make it pretty? The ones on the nexus forum?? I noticed I have the standard Bethesda HD dlc installed but have read how to disable that on the forum but wanted to know if those were any good?
I have been playing that a lot...
Whats weird with overclocking is my new rig is/was overclocked to 4.5 and plays Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 and everything else with no crashing.
YEt the rig I built last year with nigh on the exact same spec would crash like hell at anything over stock. Clearly the OC was unstable somehow...
No you can. Well I could when I downloaded it. Think it went through them all to start with and then I realised you could select them individually.
I can't remember how though I'm afraid :(
I need to do mine properly.
I let the OC Genie do it itself and its at 4.2 and 1.x (can't remember!) Volts.
I had it at 4.5 and 1.275 before updating the BIOS I think
You can view a "live" view of the drivers progress on the DPD site by putting your tracking number in.
Gives you a map to look at. (sometimes they take it offline though)
I have an XFX PSU in mine and its good.
My 7990 also is pretty good :o
God help me if any of the XFX stuff fails though as the RMA process is said to be rubbish with them.
Yeah I have a second monitor but the issues happen with a second monitor so want to be able to see whats going on with one screen and then compare with 2 screens.
I did find about turning frame pacing off but found that out late last night and couldnt be arsed to go do it/get out of bed. So il...
