I take it the feed is not running down behind the headlight then. Just trying to picture where you are running it.
I have only ever had a maxogen installed, but there was no chance of getting anything down the area between battery and headlight on mine due to the headlamp motor thing.

Depends on your long term plans for the engine I guess. The maxogen is a well designed airbox, I wouldnt have any of the other ones (viper/bmc)
Not sure about the newer ones on the market v power / green twister etc.
I'm not a fan of the adapter plates and bits needed to make them fit though. Ben waved his wand over my mk1 body and informed me that there were no real gains to be had from the etcc body over a slightly tweaked stock one.
used to use the sh run captured to text files myself then paste it into the new bit of kit
obviously you need to have the same interfaces and be in enable mode before you do the paste.
sometimes helps to slow the line delays down in hyperterminal so it gets a chance to process the entry...
