Bought mine with 84K on last year. Full service history mostly from main dealer.
Has been pretty reliable up until recently, but for all I know what has gone wrong could have happened to any car I bought. And when I add how much I have spent on repairs to the cost of the car I am still way...
I've got a dirt cheap one (£25 jobbie inc case). It blows about in the wind.
Are more expensive ones more stable? I dont know. Would I buy cheap again? No.
Swan and Cygnet is a good shout, seemed nice there.

Have some food, a chat and even take some christmas piccys!

The first week of December on the Sunday afternoon (5th)...
Buy one from the uk?
Bet you could get a mint one to your door for half that if you picked it up. You'd just have to live with the steering wheel on the correct side.
This is at work, was in a shed outside one of the offices for the last 10 years or so because the owner (who used to work for us) died.
For some reason it was removed from the shed the other week and has sat outside since :( Guys at work say they are worthless, seems a shame.
Flux have the worst service ever, can be cheap though!
I found chris knott really good for service, but they wont insure young people anymore :( Brentacre seem ok too when getting quotes.
Preventative maintenance would have been changing the dephaser, water pump and pas pump surely since if they go your still going to have to change the cambelt or aux belt again!
