That happened to me with Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I think I even pre-ordered NV because I enjoyed Fallout 3 so much. Then when it arrived, my interest dropped off sharply. I haven't even looked at Fallout 4. I think the experience that has been Wasteland 2 for me so far, has far overshadowed...
But I'm not in Asia. :tongueout:
In all seriousness, surely they could see the benefit of creating and selling games for the handhelds that are more in line with the tastes of Europe and NA? There's a huge market out there and to simply dismiss it for the sake that it doesn't toe the line with...
Here, here.
I've had several chats to Andy (@SharkyUK ) regarding the whole multi-GPU debacle - and I can understand the complexity and issues that such a situation can face for developers. But what gets under my skin is the exact comment you made - it's a mature technology. The old Voodoo2...
Bang on. The Vita was (is?) a cracking evolution from the PSP. It utterly trounces the Nintendo DS and all of its iterations in terms of hardware capability. Yet where are the games and the support to push them out?
I do have some great games on the Vita - but they are few and far between. They...
Pretty? Yes.
Good multiplayer - especially with mates? Yes.
Good single player? Gets boring quick.
Much depth? No - unless weapon stats are your be-all-and-end-all to a game.
Apparently this is like Destiny from what I've read. If you liked that, I'm guessing you'd like this.
If I could sell my...
Final nail in the coffin for me on this. Why on earth would I need to defend supplies from gangs? Surely those supplies are worth more to the gangs than actual currency in a crisis like the game portrays? Retrieving supplies from gangs - now that's an entirely different thing....
Level 10...
You've summarised my points in that picture, perfectly Jack. Very little 'means' anything. You've got a primary DPS of 102k+ on an SMG? How does that compare to my AK-47 with ACOG sight, extended mag, forward grip and compensator barely managing 1/50th of the same damage? You've got 57k of...
Personally I'd say no. It looks pretty. The voice acting is good and it's an interesting take on a familiar genre. It shines as a multiplayer game but is noticeably weaker in SP mode.
Overall, it seems a bit of a shallow experience for me. Once you get past the initial 'that's cool' factors -...
As others - definitely follow it up if you can.
I had a large stone dropped on my previous car from a carriageway fly-over by a bunch of kids. It hit the passenger wing with enough force that it punched a hole clean through it. A few feet the other way and a fraction of a second later, and it...
Hmmmmm - my doubts are creeping in thick and fast. I can only suspend my belief of what's going on so far after emptying several AK-47 clips into an enemy, who's sole protection appears to be that of a hoodie.
I'm at Level 10 now. What's going to happen at Level 30? The same process, but those...
OP - just out of curiosity if you ever get your wipers back to this state that you had them....
The bolts on that wiper arm - should have several metal washers between the bolt itself and the arm. There's also a third bolt that's off to the right of the picture - but I can't recall if that...
Lol. I can appreciate making the AI behave 'more realistic' is probably one hell of a programming challenge - but to the game player, it does nothing other than dispel belief in what you're doing.
I remember playing Deus Ex : Human Revolution and trying to sneak into the Police Station. I got...
Simply doing that though, doesn't make the ManBeast moist.
Can you imagine the search history on their PC in 2016? It would make Operation Yewtree look tame.
Jesus. Were things that bad, some 30 years ago? Then again, I was stuck on the Atari 2600 at the time.
It also appears that some village has lost both of its rapists too...
If it's any consolation - I've used the 3M twice and couldn't get on with it. Trying to use a drill on a heavily curved surface takes a lot of skill and patience - neither of which I have for doing the headlights!
I used various sandpapers (with the grit ratings according to the 3M guide) - and...
Put a few hours into now - currently on level 9 and have got the three wings unlocked at the base. Tried it out for about an hour last night with a m8 of mine too and it's much more enjoyable than going in alone on single player.
However. I have reservations. My biggest concern is that this...
Looking at it, he's done RAID-0 (or 1?) for the top pair for speed or redundancy. And the bottom three are in RAID-5?
Pure guess-work though! :tongueout:
It's really more straight-forward these days. Any self-respecting PC specialist would be able to advice on parts face-to-face as well. Get a budget and a quote together and we can give it a once over. The build part is great to get stuck in with - strangely relaxing and therapeutic!
Just be...
Worth checking in future if you have a wireless issue - if something like your phone can also connect to the router wirelessly. A quicker check to see if the router is the issue than having to reinstall laptop wireless drivers, etc. :)
^^^ - post of the thread. This is exactly what I tried to fight when I went on Anglesey Circuit in mine. The end result? Total spin-out. It feels unnatural at first - almost the complete opposite of what you believe you should be doing. But stick at it and as @Shocker says - the car itself...
The problem with Ghosts - on the PC platform anyway, is that its a massively flawed port from the console platform. It is not in anyway optimized and can literally hang for a few seconds, before continuing. The main issue appears to be with the memory - it continues to climb in usage up to 99%...
Got our first works laptop last week featuring an M.2 drive. Only 128GB in size, but more than ample for what it will be used for.
I have to say that it's pretty quick. And having the traditional SATA bay totally empty allows for easy storage upgrades in the future.
The 850s for me were the pinnacle. The yellow saloons in particular. Just need a few cosmetic touches of black accessories and it would be sorted.
It's hard to find a more honest and down-to-earth marque than Volvo. They are pricey new, but built like a tank. You never buy one to 'fit in' with...
Now you're just being selfish. Surely I need to borrow the TI's (permanently - never to be returned, sent back, or seen by yourself ever again) in order to conduct a useful comparison experiment against my 690s?
I'll even pay the postage......
Had a bash at CS:GO online last night. Good god - I forgot how bad both I and 'it' was as an online experience. You think COD is rife with the haves and have nots - this thing is a joke. When I died for the 4th time having scored the same amount of hits against the target, yet half the damage -...
It really adds a whole new dimension to it - especially when you get a couple of squads who are responsive to your commands. It simply doesn't work with a team of Rambos. Having 16+ players all doing what they want is just chaos and doesn't allow you to build up enough commander points to deploy...
