Cheers. Main problem is getting the car, or the wheels to the paint-shop. She works full-time and needs the car every day, so it's not easy to find time to sort it. She's also mentioned getting them done a mad colour, any ideas?? :)

Noticed that the paint has started flaking off the wheels of my girlfriends 197, (they were refurbed by the previous owner). As you can imagine she's not best pleased. Seeing as the wheels aren't curbed at all can she get away with getting the wheels repainted cheaper than a full refurb? Also...

Good lad. I used to work at a car sales and I often saw people accepting stupid offers for cars. When you go for a test-drive pay most of your attention to the gearbox, it's the most noticeable sign of a well-abused 197 and potentially expensive to fix. Good luck! :)
