About 150bhp mate maybe a tad over or a tad under! U need a unichip really to get the most out of the modifications. and if u can get a 2l get one. I wished I could have found one when i had my engine work done. now im having the engine out again to get a 2.0 slapped in. No matter what u do...

too late i bought the bottom end now. has done less miles and was fairly cheap. i reckon my head with cams, verniers, ported etc, k-tec manifold should be better than a willy head?

get a bmc cda, its just about the same thing and fits the 16v. im well impressed with mine and i aint even got a cold air feed goin into it yet, its pointing to the engine till i get mi piping.

Iv just been offered a 2.0 bottom end with 28k miles on it from a S reg F7R megane. The guy says it is the block, pistons and crank. is there anythin else missing from this to swap with my 1800?? cheers for any help. I need to call the guy back shortly!

right iv got cams, headwork, pulleys etc at the min. its defo a lot quicker than it was but iv always wanted the 2.0 bottom end. now iv found one and a willy engine. do i swap the bottom ends and keep my nice head, or just swap the whole lump for a 47k willy lump? IF matt brown old car is...

Ben problem is the clips are too small on the phase 1, i looked at my mums and hers are thicker and clip into the strips properly. Sweeney do you mean a screw holding the actual bump strip on. just one at the end. if so iv found this bit and got the old ones off but they just font fit...
