Yep, fully charged and I just put it on the bolt, go full pelt and it just keeps on impacting the bolt but never removes it, just like it would if it was too tight for it.
I've seen one being used before and it is just as if this one cant undo a bolt that tight.
Yep, well it was worth a try.
Surely it should be able to do what its rated to do though lol
I would love a decent snap on one, even a dewalt but for what I will use it for its really not worth it. £100 was my limit for this!
Edit: Lol at this on the machine mart site
Bought a clarke one today, like in the OP.
Wont even remove a wheel bolt as it is now! Its rated at 200Nm and my bolts are torqued to about 100Nm so its s**te basically. Will be going back on Thursday.
Get what you pay for!
I was the same, kept putting off buying a decent jack until I had more money but then realised it was worth just going for it now, will last you the rest of your life all for the price of a decent night out :)
Use a decent jack which has a flat surface rather than the shite cup type surface on the cheapo ones.
What most on here use is this, but it does your back in when you try and lift it lol
Just to check before I go mad with the grinder :D
I just unbolt the bracket, from what i can see it is a single bolt that goes through the bracket wing and bumper.
I can then cut the bracket off, by cutting it vertically further down the bracket if you get what i mean?
And the bumper and...
They wear quick i found, even on the road, so wouldn't last very long at all. And if you have used the conti's up in a year then the toyo's probably wont last half as long. Depends how often you get your student loan lol
I have used mine on the road in torrential rain and they were fine, even...
yeah, i understand that why they want to stop people using it like its used at the moment.
It was/is supposed to be a community but they do give the HTML code to display the pictures externally.
Do your know if its possible to use that on the forum? That way it would link back to flickr and...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps
Anyone else downloaded Talking Tom
Got it today, had loads of fun messing about at work with it. One of the best apps yet :D
Are flickr stopping people using the site as a host for forums?
Pictures in this thread which were visible yesterday are no longer
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=520747
For one of the pictures the old URL was
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4077/4760674588_6a507ae1b0_b.jpg...
Must be something to do with flickr trying to stop people using it as a hosting site.
It is as if they are changing the url's of the image to stop people linking to them :(
Still not got one, but really want one.
Might just get the machine mart one tomorrow. Should of got it when i had my vat free voucher but nevermind.
I dont even know exactly how to use them though lol, do i need to torque the bolts up still or not?
