    Battlefield 4

Hopefully it won't be a wait until the v1.6 patch like the original Battlefield 1942 was! ;) D.

    Battlefield 4

This is the problem with all games like this and unfortunately, I can't see it ever changing. :( There's so much going on both in the game and at the server level - that invariably it fails and crashes in the early days. Some players put up with it, I for one don't. That means by the time its...

    Battlefield 4

Been having a quick flick through the Prima e-guide that I got for pre-ordering. Looks good, but they are clearly holding back to provide more content in the DLC stakes. D.

Same £££ amount chucked into it and you'd have a decent Ph.1, imo... D.

N200 CUP - blue 200 near Filton airport, Bristol

No m8 - getting dropped off at Bristol Parkway on the return journey home. I was on the opposite side in my m8's Merc C200 estate - certainly nothing that would have stood out anyway! :) D.

    Sim Rig

    Should be. A GTX 690 runs F1 2013 in 5760x1200 absolutely fine :) D.

Audi TT 2.7T RS, The Unkown Prototype.

Although my perfect pay-per-view TV fantasy would involve a TT, driven by James Corden and Ricky Gervais as a passenger - hurtling 100mph into a burning inferno wall of spikes.... that was an interesting article to read. I 'sense' that the Audi powers-at-be already had the first fleeting ideas...

Help me find a suitable desktop PC for a technophobe!

MSI are actually a motherboard manufacturer (the main part that most components plug into) - along with other like Asus, Gigabyte, etc. i3 processors are perfectly capable for entry level needs - in fact that maybe a good choice. But i5's are the mainstream CPU of choice and you might end up not...

Hi to all ! Proud owner of a 1.5DCi Renault Clio saloon.

Certainly unusual - good choice, imo! Welcome, by the way! :) D.

Some selfish little **** has scratched my car

Pretty much what Steve said above. I had the full side blended in, which actually covered several imperfections..... http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?500610-Thank-you-tossers Really chuffed with the end result, but I was fuming at the time for the unnecessary expense and time...

    Net gear router

+1 Needs zero config - you'll be up and running in 30secs. Plus powerline adapters have come down massively in price this year. They used to be quite expensive for 200mbps speeds and above - but not anymore. :) D.

Help me find a suitable desktop PC for a technophobe!

A bit arty-farty, but what about the below? http://www.scan.co.uk/products/215-msi-ae220-amd-e2-3000-165ghz-4gb-500gb-led-multi-touch-win-7-hp-white-all-in-one Seems a bit unclear as to what OS is comes with. I'd suspect Windows 8, but the description mentions Win 7? To be fair, if he's he's...

[PC/Xbox360/PS3] Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Official Thread

Same here m8. BC2 felt more cohesive somehow. A nice array of unlocks, but not daft enough to become the be-all-and-end-all like they are in the COD series and to a lesser extent, BF3. BF3 was a wake-up call for me - the first BF game (aside from the awful BF:Vietnam) that I just felt cold from...

    Battlefield 4

Man, you're missing out so much on the games if you ignore SP. All the COD titles give you a very good grounding for map layouts and weapon types and styles before you even take one step into the online world. The BF series, less so - but I'll still play the entire SP campaign through before...

My mates Punto GT on eBay F***ING QUICK

I hate to piss on his chips, but I had my 'almost' stock Punto GT for over 6 years. Despite his having around 50 horses more than me - it would have to be a very poorly Evo or Scoob to get out-dragged by this. Who fitted the seb2? A lot of those were poorly fitted. If on standard suspension...

Insurance policy problem CS advice needed

It's always confused me somewhat - the business usage statement on insurance policies. Clearly, there are some clear-cut cases of on-going and prolonged business use, like the OP's - but a lot of the time, it appears a grey area to me. Unless I'm missing something? We have a works' depot just...

Puddle Of Water Inside The Clio

My m8 did this with his Ph.1 172 after water ingress. The trapped water totally stunk too :dead: - kept in place by a mish mash of dead leaves and stuff. Again, once cleared it cured his problem of water coming into the cabin. Funnily enough, I had this on my car years ago for a few weeks. I...

Replacing CV Boot on 182 with Cup Packs

The CV boots on these Clios are an utter fail of design. How they expect a simple clip to hold it in place and retain the grease in the boot itself, is beyond me. I've had several clips and boots replaced over the years. Just crap. It only takes a few small splatters of CV grease to land on the...

Dephaser pulley has died (guess) needs transporting to garage, best option?

If you're covered through the bank - I'd go with that option. At least you'll have a decent 'backup plan' should anything happen in getting the car to the garage. Bad to hear that about the dephaser. I had mine done just over a week ago, along with it's 2nd cambelt. Mine wasn't making any noise...
