Adding on, I've noticed certain brands of CD-R's get stuck/won't play and others do the business. I only use Verbatim Pearl White, as I've found they seem to play best on almost anything. Pro's and Con's of backing up your CD collection for the car, keeps your originals healthy but the player...

I sold my Mk1 172 as it was costing loads of money to run, ( says me now with a 182 :o ) I must admit though, if the wife had've been working in the accident repair centre when I had the 172, I wouldn't have parted with her at all..... I miss my 172 :(

Whoever sells you it should have the code, if not then it might be nicked. To go to renault you would need the original registration of the car it came out of, for them to give you the code.

cable throttle for a kick off as it seems to have better response time compared to the electronic you get on the newer 172's, plus the fact that the Mk1 looks better imo... Best Clio RenaultSport going.. Stick with it matey.

The drivers side should just have a moulding hole underneath. :S The remote central locking is wireless matey, unless you've got the original mk1 clio then it was infra red iirc

iirc you need to have stronger, brighter lamps installed to compensate for the tint. Not sure if it's legal though.

Useful info for you with Alloy wheels... bigger wheels for show, standard for go. Nice Alloys by the way ;) Also, Clio's rattle and squeak, Reanult's build is not the best but you'll still have fun driving it :approve: Welcome to Cliosport too :D
