There are companies that encase your car in a protective film - see the back of Evo mag, not sure if it's worth doing on a Clio though. Getting the area resprayed may be cheaper.
not too sure if it's just renaultsport models but i tought the Clio did have a particular alignment issue with the wheels. they're offset, as I say though I'm not sure if it applies to non sport models.
all dealers are the same, bunch of no-hopers who start as grease junkies and 'qualify' through shitty tests to prove they can change some oil.

it was by the time i'd finished with that car, bought it for track use with the intension of increasing the performance etc but only did 500 miles in it. First time i took it on a track i plough through a tyre wall at Donnington. Not pretty. Didn't realise they used fibre glass wings on them...
i've got a set of 4 16" cup wheels with yoko rubber - only done about 1000 miles on them. currently their gathering dust waiting for winter so i can put them on my trophy instead of buying winter rubber but i may be tempted to part with them for the right offer.
i can tell you who not to go to. Not had anything done to a clio yet but when i had a bmw done it took me ages to find a half decent resprayer. I did have a beauty one just outside of halifax but they shutdown :(
