Lol. Well it's just after Christmas and all that.
They sell loads of stuff. Realistically, if it's interest free, why not save your cash and finance it?
1.7 puma is pretty quick for a first car... The ford racing one is 150hp.
If you want a fun, engaging drive, buy a ph1 or a 172 cup.
If you want gadgets and pleather, buy a ph2 or a 182.
That's not to say the ph2 and 182 aren't a great drive, they are. You just get that little bit more out of...
I've read from 6.3 to 6.7.... I think the 6.9 is for the FF, just most places don't change the figure.
I think my cup has the edge over my mates civic 0-60, over about 75 he has the edge. But they're very close.
Cup feels a lot faster to be in though.
As 1.2's go, not bad at all mate. And not having a/c is a good thing on the engine... You don't want to waste what little power you have!
You'll love it, don't worry :)
They can look really nice for very little money too. Have a look at some of the non-sport projects.
Fbw throttle always feels like this.
My cup is the same, it doesn't feel progressive either really, there's a few 'plateaus' in the pedal I find, particularly when it's cold.
It could well be sorted with a remap. Not completely, but improved.
Aux belt is due it's second change now.... That's not cool if it hasn't been done! Id just get the aux belt done myself, but one of the folks in the know may disagree.
With downforce like that, it would own your vee on track as well. :rasp:
To be fair, massive rear downforce is good on front wheel drive cars, right????
15's.... Definitely. When the car's low, they look fantastic.
Plus, lighter, better handling, acceleration and braking. With the extra added bonus of silly cheap tyres!
So much win!
