Another thing, the bird on the phone asked me when i wanted...
I havent even been given a date:cry:
Ive only got a letter saying they ( broker ) will only contact me when it arrives at the dealers:@
Dont know if thats the norm or should i have been given a specific date.
When i ordered it i was just told 6-8 weeks - 3 weeks ago now.
Good...

No she wont lose her no claims at all. She just wont be gaining anymore until she has her own policy. If you are going to be the main driver then you should be the insurer, also if she got 6 eyars she has enough really! and you should...
Question time guys:confused:
Im due to take delivery of a 182 in around 8 weeks time and taking the advice here entered my details on Admirals site.
Heres my problem, if i was to take out a policy as the main driver-so i can earn some NCB ( as i havent any) does my G/F lose her 6 yrs NCB...

Cheers all.
Alright guys :)
Ill be taking delivery of a 182 in a few weeks and id just like to know if the standard security is good enough?
I was thinking of buying a Clifford or other alarm but if the standard stuff is good ill not bother.
Opinions pretty please.
Ta:)
Alright guys-again;)
Just rang Renault Manchester up to see what deal they can do me and they quoted me to begin with £15,375:o then he said he could knock £1,000 off there and then while on the phone!
He said he could still play about with the figures if i was to pop in ( work stopped me...
Just a note on the Lloyds tsb site.
Ive just read the FAQs and if you want to buy a new car you have to be a Lloydstsb customer ( that rules me out :( )

Well i didnt expect this amount of feedback, so thanks to you all:D
Yep i know, like ive said previous i am mad getting this as a 1st car but ill handle it;)
It wont end in tears unless i abuse the car, which i wont ( self control is my middle name)
Ill take it easy i promise and...
Yeah, i do think ill be able to handle it besides YOU control the car, not the other way round ( in theory anyway!)
Id say im a mature person who knows his limits. I wouldnt push my luck wth it thats for sure.
The Mrs is rather looking foward to a new car. She is not a bad driver at all...
Erm.. wouldnt that mean you were breaking the speed limit on the assumption of course that the car infront was doing 70mph;)
Just a small point but YOU would be driving illegally;)
Speed demons you lot :D
One last question, i think!
Having decided to get one, do i need to test drive one bearing in mind i like everything about the car and ive done my research ( and i dont have any other car in mind tbo;) )
Im 6ft 1in tall and medium build so im guessing the driving position would be ok...
