On my 182 the Auto-lock function needs me to press the button for it to lock however, on my old mk1 172 it did this automatically as soon as I hit 6mph. Is this a mechanical fault on my 182 or were they all designed exactly the same? Andi

I would suggest if you can afford, to go for a HD/DVD recorder instead of a DVD stand-alone .. ;) I've got a DVD recorder and it gets a pain when you run out of cd space. :( Andi

Tyre treads sometimes cause it too, especially if you've got a worn tyre on one side and a new one on the other. Also you'd want to get the garage to check for wear in the steering rack too, Renault build quality aint the best unfautunately. Andi
