@gally I finally used that wax you recommended over a layer of triple on the tank of my new bike, properly impressed. The pair together left the tank looking amazing.
I wouldn't bother with the roof, at all. If you damage the roof skin even slightly it'll but the s**t out of you every time you walk up to the car. Not worth it for the weight equivlant of one big s**t.
Just clean the tdc first, don't do anything else. If it starts it's likely to need changing.
They generally respond to being taken out and cleaned for the first few weeks.
Another way to check is if you leave it in gear and rock it back and forth a bit, then try and start.

It's at fairly strong money for the age/mileage, but it's a good car to someone who wants to buy one and make the upgrades that most "car people" make.
To be honest, I may even remove it from sale because I've just bought a new bike, so I don't need a new car for a while.

As for the track days, just book one, don't be a hero on your first few laps and concentrate on your lines.
Make sure you're rocking decent brakes, new-ish fluid and some half decent tyres or it'll not be half as fun.
