Refitted the rubber trim on the nosecone - if you dont use double sided tape to seat it it never looks right even with the plugs in place. Found some trim to replace the headlight rubber seal, its not an exact match but I think it'll work. Old ones are all bubbly and horrible. MUCH...

This is important. Do not use stainless bolts on suspension, steering or load bearing items, you need to stick to 10.9 carbon steel. Stainless is no stronger than normal 8.8 steel bolts. 10.9's if plated are fairly resistant to corrosion so get those. If it helps add weight to the above I...

How hard did the pistons hit the valves? If its any more than a couple of light clips then I'd be wanting to pop the pistons out and check the big end bearings for flat spots/damage. You dont want to rebuild the top end to then have a flat spotted bearing pick up and ruin your engine in 200...
