My mum had one from basically new, it's still in the family & has only done about 30k with no problems at all. I drove it a few times, body roll is terrible & it needs lowering to make it look better, other than that it's ok for the motorway.

That plan for the rear spoiler sounds good, as bonkers as they look with the huge wheels arches etc, the rear spoiler really lets them down. It looks like a real after thought :grimacing:

That pic explains what I said earlier, mind you it looks like the new bits are in a completely different colour (probably due to the light as it's flip paint) but it looks completely bodged.

It sounds like he doesn't bother to look after it tbh. if he buys something for £5k will that car go the same way ?

Cool, I love them! (the Maloo) this one had a plate that looked like lions, they waited for the traffic to clear a bit & gave it some beans, lovely noise!

I reckon whoever had it from him wrecked the front bumper etc, but yeah it's pretty much how he had it... iirc that paint job cost £9000 :fearful:

Was this for sale on eBay the other day ? I think they're cool, but I never liked the rear spoiler on them, I think it looked bad even then.

I'd keep the Speedline centre caps tbh. It looks much better on the Turini's, the Wolfrace ones were too big.

Quick bump on this as my dad wants a cat back for his phase 2 172, it has to sound like normal & he doesn't want an exhaust pipe sticking out. I mentioned a ktec stealth to him, which are £400 - do people still fit them ? What else is good ?

Hermes are f*cking sh*te! They are cheap for a reason! I despise sellers who use them! If I see an ad that says Hermes, I won't bother. But people are being sneaky now, saying first class etc but using these f*ckers instead :rage:

Lol!! I knew a kid with one, massive evo spoiler thing on it & a fibreglass bodykit. It was a sh*t heap but he drove us all everywhere in it so we couldn't fault him.

Just skimmed this after seeing your video, no wonder it looked so good on the vid!! :cool: I wish I had skills to do this!
