Wow. Epic family barge! I thought it was some badged up wannabe at first, as others have said I had no idea they existed. I wish I could get wife interested in something pokey. Nope. Our 120PS 1.5dci and 55 mpg C-Max gets her excited enough and she absolutely hates driving my car.

I just read this out to my wife, genuine LOLs from us both! Some of them see the RS badge almost as sacred as the Holy Grail. Seriously, it's on a pedestal so high...they genuinely worship them. I just think, meh, it's a pokey lairy Focus that's very loose at the back and great fun to fling...

LOL now that everyone has got the recall to fix the HG problem that they've been moaning about for months on end, there's many saying they're not going to have it done as they can't trust the dealers to do the work! I predict there'll be a good few failures once cars are out of warranty and...

I wasn't expecting this...my dealer says it's likely to be due to my engine change not yet being registered. I've told him I do not want my engine dismantled!

You want pictures...? It's going to be interesting to see if this recall is for every single car?! If it is that, to me, suggests it was a Ford thing and not a flaky supply chain at fault. Ouch.

This is why I went for the Pixel. Mine was barely lasting a day after two years of moderate use. I'm off this morning to sell it...Game stores are giving £180 cash for them...that'll do.

It is if you genuinely get enjoyment from shifting gears, using a clutch, and rev matching yourself. To me it is an integral part of driving, as much as pressing the brake, the throttle, or steering is to people who enjoy pulling paddles or pressing buttons. I can see how having a car do that...

May I ask why?

It has an auto box with no manual option. That's why I justifiably slate it without having driven one.

Yep. We're expecting something to be officially 'released' soon...exactly what it entails for everyone is still far from certain though...no one really wants to have their RS' engine dismantled! I think most would rather have a complete replacement.

This is the ONLY thing they needed to do. If they had done I would have bought one instead of a Fiesta ST. I almost did, even with the EDC 'box, but just couldn't convince myself to do it.

It will have taken them a while to determine what was causing it, a while to understand how and why it happened, and a good while to get the party at fault to accept that they have to fund this entire mess, then a further while to be happy that they're genuinely doing the right thing...
