spent the morning at the MOT place i usually frequent, the emissions passed pretty easily but the lambda reading (funny enough) was a struggle. wet rags stuffed up the exhaust and we finally got it close enough to pass. actual MOT is next Saturday, handbrake cable, new plates, possibly 2 tyres...

    supercharging ph1

Rs tuning or Ktec to build it, if you build it yourself you'll still need Rs tuning, Ktec or TDF to map it. They can drive as standard, can be reliable and great fun. On the other hand, they can drive like ass, Could be unreliable and you'll get pissed off and try selling it 6 months later...

Jonny, I've been lucky enough to know a few people on here locally who are very helpful and know a hell of a lot. Burpspeed/Jay Payne and Adeyspec with everything mechanical and Matt@TDF for the electrical. All I'll say is don't be afraid to have a go yourself, anything is possible so long as...

    Icemans Britcar Endurance project 182

Nope he wouldn't be able to race in many/any series. That's sounds like an epic failure, not in a good way epic though. What clutch/fly was he using, was it a similar fault with the previous engine?

    Icemans Britcar Endurance project 182

Wouldn't have thought it makes enough difference to actually notice the stalling. I had it done on my saxo and didn't really notice the downside
  15. bomber

    Icemans Britcar Endurance project 182

Correct. The down side is that if it's too light it increases the risk/ease of stalling etc, not so much an issue in a race car though

    Broken Key Fob

Easiest is to get the key programmed by Renault and have it cut at a locksmith shop. Some dealers charge circa £40 to cut a key after they have charged you for programming it, cost upwards of £100 easily. Proper locksmith shop will charge you no more than a fiver for cutting a supplied blank...
