If you unlock it then open the door straight away (within a second) the alarm will go off (Mine does) other than that, not to sure.

Try drying the board out first, take all relays out and clean up the contacts with a bit of fine sandpaper (Make sure to take note of where they all go)

It was early & I still had sleep in my eye's. It was defo a sport, as it had the three vents under the head lights in the bumper. If I spot it again I'll try and get a pic.
