No, this will line up with the OEM cat just fine. Just will be louder as you're removing the centre silencer.
TBH, you'd be better just going to an exhaust shop and getting a flexi welded in. Shouldn't cost anymore than £100 and can get them to have it all sitting correctly/sealed whilst...
I think most cracked about a year after purchasing, so you've done well to have it last this long.
Can buy the non res version here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RS192-RENAULT-CLIO-182-SCORPION-RACING-STRAIGHT-THRO-CENTRE-PIPE-UNSILENCED-/182340472191
Yeah the little green one you've highlighted is the subframe one. There's another that clips under the battery tray, i made a little p-clip style bracket for mine but no idea if its needed! Stops it from hitting against the side of the battery tray and potentially rubbing i guess.
The PMS strut fits to ktec top mounts, same PCD.
There's also no easy way without the brace. Mine are slightly off and I had to mill my strut brace mounting holes to slots. Fits fine now.
You notice a big decrease when turning 25 then? I'm 25 this month so a drop in insurance price would be nice!
Currently paying about £640 on the 182 with all mods declared. Moving house did have a huge impact and I think I got a refund of about £150 halfway through the policy.
Mad how on certain cars its cheaper to get a modified policy and declare everything than going through compare the market or similar.
Guess its age dependant too.
I was only jesting, the main demographic is weirdos who love old french hatchbacks.
Any of the politics/coronavirus/US threads are definitely to be avoided and don't speak for the majority of the members imho.
Always had to take stuff to work. This will make things a thousand times easier now!
Just saw your circlip plier reply. Not sure what to do yet, I rarely use circlip pliers but when I do I want a decent set 😂
Does my £15 vice count as a new tool?
Got it mounted onto my worktops at the weekend with big spreader washers top and bottom. Already used it for disassembling my PMS shifter.
