ive just read all 12 pages of this, epic read and and epic car. wish i had the know-how on doing something like this, one day i'll get stuck into an engine conversion myself

theyre reaching alot of money for the age of them but they are such a capable car its easy to see why. if you get one, next years road trip is coming to Denmark
hah, my gf didnt mind mine until she had to go somewhere in it. no working windows, no aircon, very hot gearbox/diff/transfer box/engine heat coming through the floors and konig bucket seats which are great as a drive (as your arms are lifted) but s**t as a passenger lol.

me too salty, when people say how unreliable renaults are i want to punch them pretty hard.
ive not done a huge amount of mileage in it over the last 4 years, maybe 12k miles but theyre hard miles or round a track. a total of 2 wheel bearings and...

as you all know, we went round europe last week. 2209 miles of amazingness.
nothing at all went wrong with the car once, upto the Nurburgring. hammering it round the karussell one too many times in 2nd gear made a dying drive shaft...
