Ive tried as well and all that happens if you try a one touch on the drivers door/passenger side, is that you blow the fuse. The wiring will only accept a one touch switch on the drivers side window, but it will take a normal up/down switch as well. Ive got 4 normal up/down switches from my...
I cant think of Twister without thinking of either the classic party game, or those hideous dry chicken things at KFC. They just dont seem to have any kind of quality about them, but I may be wrong, Ive not seen one up close.
Yeah it is JC5. Ill talk about it with you on the weekend mate, but mine works like a dream. Theyre so cheap from Renault you might as well just buy one brand new. £550 on exchange.
hehe yeah the saga of Performance GTi. Lets hope this time they try to actually make it available in the shops before calling it a day. Its no wonder they went bust, the only time you could get it was quarterly on the two days after it was published and then only from a main WHSMiths in my part...

Dont know much about the 172 cat(s). but basically, if the lambda sensor is in the downpipe then you can do whatever you want to the exhaust system from there backwards and it wont affect the lambda readings. The lambda sensor will still read the oxygen and send it up to the ECU, from where the...
Well on every Williams and 16v that I know of, decatting it has always reaped benefits. Ive not heard of a single driver who would want their cat back on again after ditching it. Just dont expect a lot. It may feel a little bit more eager and it helps everything along but you wont see mega power...
Oh yeah dont get me wrong, of course it can be done...I could put 20s on my 16v if I wanted, but it just wouldnt be a walk in the park. Im sure 18s will physically go on, because the 1.2 is pretty high off the ground. Its just that if you put 18s on it, its gonna look ridiculous unless you have...
If it was me Id go for the one in the picture (Bad Girl?) rather than an alloy one. If youre going to the effort of a respray then a spoiler always looks better in body colour IMHO. Not that Mels isnt a good job mind you. Just my preference is for something factory looking.
That looks like a Bad Girl spoiler. Ive never heard of P&A tuning or whatever it is so thats probably a local bodyshop, and they used a Bad Girl spoiler when they did the bodywork. Is it made by CTC Autofashion? I think so but cant be sure.

Yeah Ray could be right. But I had this exact same problem for months and months on my 16v and changed everything, wishbones, balljoints, bushes, bearings, top mounts, the lot. In the end, at the end of my tether, I changed the top engine mount (even though it wasnt worn at all) and it fixed it...

So there you have it...some people like em some people dont. I used to have one but just went off it. Gotta say it was handy in the low sun during the winter. I think the key to sunstrips is dont go too mental with the graphics or lettering, subtle is best. And dont ever get one that says Motorsport
If you want noise, nothing beats an open induction kit, straight through decat pipe and full cat back system. Cheapo back boxes like Peco are the best for loud 4" tailpipe exhausts. Youll lose loads of power but the noise will make you think youre going fast!
Unfortunately there is no cheap...
Plus you need to get the same offset as the original wheels and you will probably have a problem with the extra width as 215 is about the least width you can get in an 18" tyre. Thats a lot for an arch to take.
Well for a start if youre going for 18s then you need to get much more accurate about your measurements! 2 inches wont do. Find out how much room youve got at the moment by looking at your tyre wall and measuring the distance to the arch. Then look at the tyre profile and work out the overall...
I did do a home made shelf a long time ago and it was crap. Get a proper replacement stealth shelf and it will not only work properly and look pukka but your shelf speakers will sound a lot better./
hehe yeah I pretty much never cane it over 3500 when its cold, but you know how it is, sometimes theres some arse in a white van who is just crying out to be overtaken on the way to work...I dont make a habit of it, but Ive gotta say, my Clio is just as quick and responsive when its warm as when...
I wouldnt worry too much about 0-60 from a quarter mile time. Its the last bit thats always the hardest on the engine cos by then youre into a higher gear...eg I can quarter mile in 14.8 @ 91mph, but the 0-60 is probably in the low 6s.SO it takes another 8 seconds to get from 60 to 90mph. On...
