£1 a mile is probably correct to be fair. Done around 60 miles in it today and all seems good. It has a surprising turn of pace when you stomp on the pedal.

Replacement pump ordered. The one on there was some Chinese number so hopefully this solves the issue. If not, it’s a useful upgrade regardless.

I’m still saying fuel pump. I took it for a couple of laps around the block and it ran fine. I’m sure @bashracing and his trusty side kick Dave will get it sorted.

Update…. It’s still in Walsall but I have been told it will be delivered by dinner time TODAY. Let’s see what happens.

I think the issue is that they won’t book a truck. They are simply checking each day if one is available and doing it that way. If something is more of a priority they’re just sacking me off. Because I’m not with the car I am less of a priority than someone who is with it. Moral of the story -...
