Yep I appriciate they wont be as dedicated as 888's but then for a set of four they're about £180 extra too, which is another trackday. Tbf, the last few trackdays I've done have been on Proxes4's which are good enough for £30 lol.
well that black Clio in the tintops wasn't hanging around so...
They're handed yep. I would say you don't need wheel off if you can get the car high enough, but it will sure be easier to wait till you have a bar and get it off
The above tyre, available from demon tweaks at £77 each, no stock at camskill as Toyota plant is in Sendai.
My question to you lovely folk, has anyone used them? Both on road and track. Not fussed about winter driving but I refuse to spend out £100+ per tyre when I will be eating them at the...
Even the cheap motor factor ones are similar price as renualt. I've not changed both at once, but then I have managed 3 months with only one side anyway
how much insurance! im paying £700 on the caged, coiled, charged clio at 26. sod paying £1000+ for the trophy
the pre-facelift ones look poo though lol, that isnt a bad price at all! might get looking again
I found 205's rubbed slightly on 15 inch oz f1 wheel with no spacers and on coilovers, although as it's a race car it isn't much of a concern. camskill site it oldskool but they're quick to respond and free delivery on 2+ tyres. Literally replied about 40 seconds after I emailed them on Tuesday
Camskill seem to be the cheapest but have little or no toyos in stock at the mo as the plant is in sendai. Mind you I've been looking for 15's, not 16's.
Will give Matt a text, I need brembo's in my life
You do not realise how epicly, insanely, HOOOOOGLY incorrect you are! 'nooo don't put jap wheels on german saloooon' why not, looks sweet as a nut sweet like tropicana
Demon tweeks have the Toyo R1R in stock for all 4 in the right size but am not keen on paying their prices, £288 for 4.
im sure camskill would be cheaper but they dont have them :/ which is a pointless comment for me to write, but I have, and dont want to press backspace
Had a look but cant get those Maxsport's in the right size :( closest is 195/55/15, which probably wouldnt make a lot of difference with the bigger profile but might look gay
I did wonder where you were, although to be fair we were parked right out the back somewhere, almost near wales i think...

looks pretty decent, price dependant of course, only available in 195/50/15 too which is mint. yes i can see your wish to 'not really give a s**t' as such ;)
thanks sweet cheeks xxxxxxxxxx
Oh my!!! Those wishbones are beautiful. Are they something you would be creating more of? Incredible, at least in the computer stage
How much have you paid for them? Want to send me the CAD files? Lol
Do the brembo calipers easily fit the mk2's? Are the brackets readily available? Do you mind me asking how much you paid for them also, or did you get them through Matt?
I found they wave fingers at you if your driving down the motorway with Boosh sitting on the door out an open window in the outside lane lol, other than that we had no problems with any French driving
I did 3000 miles in the Clio last year, 2250 of them in Europe. Managed 31mpg average including the alps, 5+ mountain passes, 140+ on autobahn and 5 laps of the ring. I shouldn't worry about fuel and mileage ;)
1.1 that far wouldnt even be an option for me tbh. 182 will get 40+ mph on the french motorways as theyre empty and your not always stop start like in the UK
Couldn't say at the mo, need to wait till I fill it up and work out the mileage.
Confused as to what to do now, I rang up camskill to buy some tyres as mine aren't looking great on the fronts. Toyo's aren't being delivered for a year or so as they're made in Sendai and hankook RS's are being...
