Well, ive got cadwell on tuesday, then mallory park on saturday 15th...
After that im going to buy an aftermarket ECU and tidy everything up in the engine bay, swap gearboxes etc....Will re-fit them then, so when the ECU is mapped it will all be fine...

I have no ABS, and the clocks arent even connected to the ECU in that sense.
The only wire coming from the ECU to the 172 clocks on mine is the rev counter (pin 70) and the flowdata for fuel consumption, everything else goes elsewhere...
The stop light is only on because the ABS + Brake...

Will try and earth it shortly see what happens, and play around with the brake fluid level light thing....its gotta be a case of 12v or earth....everything else works spot on
if the worst comes to the worst and i cant get them off il just remove the led from the board
Wired up the 172 clocks to my Mk1 loom today, everything works (running 172 Ph1 Box Sensor) perfectly, apart from these lights showing up...
1. The ABS light wire on the connector (Pin 14 on red connector) is not even wired upto anything... What does it require to turn itself off? A 12v or an...

il be back at somepoint with them lol....the nut from the 1509-01 does not fit into the pulley locking tool like it should....its like 1mm too big?
Freds fitted fine when I used his set of tools....will come and show you anyway

hah....yeah its been fine, i took it for a drive last night to charge it up a bit and its been spot on...
Think i still might get an isolator though just for piece of mind, will have to have a look around...
Just in the middle of wiring up the 172 clocks...

For sub £30 a corner im not complaining, think ive got 4 that are not on wheels, 4 on the turbines, and the 4 on the williams wheels at the moment....should last me out the year easy which will be around 9/10 trackdays in total for 2009.....

The fronts did 2 trackdays and have another one left (along with road miles to make up 10k), so they are on the back now...
Put the backs on the front and they are hardly even worn, good few days left in them yet too....
Just been keeping an eye on...

Timed up and ready to go...
Fired up first time, drives so so so so much better, dare I say it, its faster...

Ordered the F4R timing tools from Renault earlier, as im putting the standard cams back in for now. Thought I may aswell buy my own tools if I keep swapping stuff, and a few people I know will probably want to lend them in the near future.

My polycarb windows have seen better days, they came with alot of marring/light scratches as I got them second hand, but I know people who polish them with a PC to bring them back to life...
Just wondering what you would recommend for polishing polycarbonate windows?
