really orange orange?? its just luminous orange safety paint, works ok with the right primers and top coats etc

in theory they're track wheels but will be on the car during the whole summer. i picked these wheels up at a decent price too, they came with slicks but ive no use for them without a cage and they got sold. luminous anything is the way forwards, i may get a first coat of colour on my other 2...

i had a look online but couldnt find it, ive always bought mine in the store. just asked for a 3.3ohm resistor and ive ended up with the right one lol. i cant be of much more se on that part

or go to maplins and buy a 14p resistor 3.3 ohm value and stick it between the old connections. you'll need one for the seat airbag and one for the pre tensioner if youve removed that too. ive got 5 in my car at the moment, still havent removed the steering wheel one yet

FK konigsports yep. powey, dont worry i knew the nut was only holding it together. in theory i believe the ast top hat is designed for a 60mm spring which the AST/ FK/ and other makes of spring are. by the looks of it, the GAZ use a slightly smaller spring

go to your local dealer and ask for some of the sound deadening from the roof in the 197. yours has been damaged. see what the parts guy says when he sees the cardboard lol

what suspension are you using with the topmounts? looks like the part which locates the spring isnt the right size and would need machining to counter for this

ast top mount is wrong i think. the original black carrier (above the spring) needs to be removed. the spring then fits into the bottom of the ast mount nice and smoothly. the middle bit you have fine, but the nut is also on the wrong way round ;) think i have a picture somewhere.......
