I did the Gf's car yesterday in a light drizzle, Washed and rinsed then sprayed the whole car in AF Finale then using watering cans with water from our water butt rinsed it down, Water sheeted of a treat and today when it was actually dry it looked pretty good for a 30 minute wash

Not sure but Iron-X Paste may be worth a try as pretty sure it shifts more stubborn marks than Iron-X.

I've been recommended Menz 2500 and 4000 for a good combo on Hex Pads, Scrooge/Gally/Aucky/Daniel all seem to rate them.

I wash cars in the rain a lot, Less rinsing and for a quick wash it leaves good results due to the soft rain water leaving less/no watermarks :)

I wouldn't use any of the Waxybox samples as have not heard any good feedback on them but have no experience with Reload or HD Wax.

So found DJ Purple Haze for £25 + postage at £3.95.... Anyone know of a better deal? Worth going Pro???

Oh and to add I'd probably use the wax on the Gf's Pearl Black Clio and her brothers Black RX8.

It's a Black car but not sure really what I'd say the flake is though. Scouting through pics on the iPad and these are about the best I can find right now to show the colour.

I have a few samples... Got a tiny pot of AF Desire on my bedside table waiting for the day I correct my own car. Small amounts of CTR and a couple more I can't remember the names of. I have a near full tub of Temptation but can't say I've been impressed by it so it pretty much sits redundant...

Keep toying with buying Purple Haze... Waxes are the area I really get lost, Too much choice and it can get silly expensive way to quickly.

If aimed at me I just remembered I bought him Poorboys Blackhole ages ago that is probably unopened, Perfect product I'm thinking for a Black RX8 :)

5l of any AF product will last ages, CP and Avalanche are the only things I could see me ever getting through in 5 litre form, I like trying different stuff too much to commit to buying that much if 1 product.
