i did think cam timing but then it wouldnt stop at 6500, it would rev the whole way just with lower power wouldnt it? smoke out the exhaust is normal, even more so in this weather. its probably coming out the left one as its a more direct route to the right hand pipe

looks very nice, did you keep the boot marks in the sides though?
