Thank you, let me clarify the situation. The car is fine, they checked it over before I bought it and serviced it. They said nothing needed to be done. I have no reason to doubt them as the car drives fine as far as I can tell.
It's going to Beaniesport purely for my own piece of mind and so I...
I'll message you later lol, yer it pulls really well. Haven't really had a chance to go out and play, but from a cruising side of things it's great.
Yer the car is pretty quiet, I just don't want to bring in loads of exhaust drone so not sure.
Thanks Dan, you should of gone for it! They are becoming more and more in demand and if you can find one with a desirable spec you will sell within a week easy.
Just got back from picking up my new Megane from K-Tec, thought I would start a new thread documenting its progress. Bought It as a treat for my 30th and to use for my Scottish road trip next year.
Usual desirable spec
* Cup pack
* Leather Recaros
* RS Monitor
* Xenons and DRLs
* Tibor wheels...
Make a custom fan curve, the problem with Ryzen is that it idles around 40 degrees, then when you do something it spikes up for a sec and that ramps the fans. It's hard to get it consistent as i was messing about yesterday and got it close as i can for now. I guess if you just have it set to a...
@Moonshot although this has never worked for me, you might have better luck. The cooler has a passthrough to the motherboard so you can control the RGB with the mobo software, if you can get it to work then it saves you another crappy third party program to download as the CM stuff isn't the...
I have the same cooler and on my mobo I have a pump header, could just use the CPU fan plug. You can't control pump speed on these so they just run flat out.
Mine is like 40 idle (3700x) or something stupid but doesn't really get above 65 when gaming.
Fan speeds I used the mobo software as...
Yer i try to buy on condition rather than miles, unfortunately this car cost me, but at least its ready for many more years. It's just a bit of bad timing that the right Megane came along and moving soon. Don't really have the space for two cars, but if i had to insurance and tax both then so be it.
I really don't know what to price it at tbh, the miles are high yes, but it has had all the maintenance and big jobs done. The argument will always be I can get a car for 70k miles and whilst that may be true, it won't of had all the stuff i have had done and could cost you down the line.
I'm...
This is why i said do it yourself lol, just unscrew it and turn it around. If you take it off and the paste doesn't cover the cpu and its not a nice even layer then clean it off and put your own on.
Looks like this will be up for sale in the next few days. MOT on Saturday, might have an advert up before then. Waiting for one person to come back to me first.
Considering i will need a fast-ish sale for the spec and amount of work that has been done it will be one of the cheapest 3 door DSGs...
That's the dilemma i'm going to face. I'm pretty hard on the brakes so would defo need some faster road pads in the first place, but then they probably wont hold up to track use. I was thinking maybe CL RC5+?
