Pepper if your happy with your 182 and your after a white one then i'd wrap yours. Full wrap will cost best part of a grand so its worth having a think how badly you want a white 172/182!!
Re: Personal Opinion on the best modification done to a 172/182 Performance or Stylin
I would say camber bolts made the biggest difference for the least money.
A 3 ton fork lift aint going to break a sweat lifting a ton of car but as suggested the scope for user error is enough to make things interesting. I cant say i'd use one to work on the 200 but i wouldnt have the escort up on one no problems.
I would personally get down to a friendly local garage and explain you just need a quick hand undoing 2 bolts. I take it the other side didnt present the same problem?
I think this every time I see a quote over a grand. Best bit is when I was 17 I got on one of the years free insurance deals!! Oh how things have changed.
Undo all the work that's gone into it, lower it 30mm on turini's strip the interior with the view to never taking it on track before the masses converge and burn you for being a witch!!
After you've taken the front wheel off you only need to undo 3 bolts to remove the shock, you only need to undo 4 to remove both rear shocks and the wheels stay on!! £300+ is a joke if I was you I would attend local meet and get to know a few guys then offer them a few squid to help.
The long...
I have to give it credit purely for the amount of work needed to achieve the look. So many people just stick turinis and a nurburg sticker on a car and call it a real head turner. I can't say I'd ever do it myself but fair play none the less. Bet that thing harvests road kill like a beast!!
My gf's Megane does this and it's almost certainly down to loom gremlins (a dodgy connection somewhere in the wiring loom) Renault are renowned for poor electronics. We just put up with it as its not an mot failure.
if you can't live with it take it to someone who has experience with...
I don't understand why you would want to find out who's Clio this is? Unless it was being driven by a hugely chested young female with more money than sense and deep seeded father issues that looks like she'll put out to anyone that gets within sucking distance!!
Thats fine but you still have the labour to pay again. Shame but by no means the end off the world.
I think I would have the car live mapped as you'll get good gains for money spent. Not the same thing I know.
Thats shocking!! Although it makes sense that grip translates into tyre wear and the 200 ain't short of grip!! Ad08's have been on my wish list for ages I'll look forward to hearing what your thoughts are on them. Can't imagine they will be anything short of biblical.
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
That colour scheme is shocking and the dash looks like its made of foam n gaffa tape.. Clutch or no clutch I won't be buying one until I've finished paying for the 200.
I don't doubt it, I checked my front tyres after 4k (3k of that in the wet no doubt) and they are half worn!! Pe2's would barely be broken in at that mileage. Bad times.
For me in an ideal world I would have something like my escort estate for work and have something mental for the weekend preferably a bike engined westfield!!
