Wow yeah for £20.
I'm in Ilkeston. Free this weekend appart from Sunday cause going to SantaPod.
What will you be doing? It's been touched up somewhat but motorway miles.
Yeah nice black 182 parked near Marlpool church on grass with ClioSport sticker in rear window. Must come on here sometime. Private plate.
Work and live near so just thought could say hi. Noticed a few 172s in Heanor area. One on Holbrook street and another nearby parked next to another Clio...
Thanks Rich.
Tried it not too bad. Touched up plenty but SRP always seems to get stuck in. I'm using Megs pads and MF cloth to wax. How much pressure should I apply when using pads. Always been quite gently as only used cloths before put these pads seem good and very soft.
Cheers.
Re: Car rattles sounds like from rear somewhere.
I ain't exhaust cause I have checked that. It isn't door exterior trim neither cause already fixed that.
Will try wiper. Can check that at work will just have to avoid speed humps lol.
Thanks for help. Will get back to you tomz on it!
Where should I be looking for it. Ph1
Well it sound like it's from rear. Taken out spare wheel and toolkit.
Parcel shelf off, no junk in door panels and glove box empty. All seatbelts in reatiners and tried cliped in.
Er. Moved seats and that. It's like a clicky sound. Sligthy metal.
I have a few little rattles but my hearing isn't so good. It's from the rear end but just want a few pointers as to what other people have found to cause rattles.
Tried AutoSmart acid cleaner. Made wheels dull and still didn't pull it off. SRP no better but got some of the shine back.
It's one wheel. Maybe a refurb but then the rest will look bad!
Hi Dan.
Er what do I ask Renualt for then. I will fit myself and I need to know the parts to ask for cause they are only really helpfull when I'm looking for them to do stuff.
Do you know prices as well by any chance?
Hi.
I currently have Autoglym SRP, EGP, Bumper care, Vinyl care, Leather cream, Zymol shampoo, and some Colour Magic black.
Now someone said since my bonnet has quite a few stone chips (ph1 miles!) I should use some Colour magic on the bonnet and then seal with EGP. Don't seem to see...
It's your posted that pointed me to the solution so thanks mate.
I've e-mailed him but will ring on Monday if I've not had a reply. I name dropped you, hope you don't mind. Best bit is HillPower is within driving distance of me! Mind you that could mean I spend more money than I should!
Basically the title says it all. I think I need one since then engine bangs in first (sounds near footwell) tried adjusting top mounts but still there.
Apparently the ph1 one is £75 but the twisted ph2 one is £33. K Tec only do that one so I was wondering if one will fit the other. E-Mailed...
Right.
Had a new bracket for exhaust but then the middle pipe split so I got a stainless steel fitted. Thing is it rattles so I took it back to ETS. The original didn't.
The guy put some more rubbers in the bracket and some tie wraps. The back box seems quite stiff now. Drove down street and...
Will disconnecting the car battery effect the alarm setup. You know will it forget key fobs etc. I didn't have it fitted but do have all the certificates.
Good point and there is plenty of arguments as to which is best out of the two!
Who turned all the Clio owners to arguing which is the best 172/182 etc.
Kinda missed the point eh.
What ph1 is the original! They are lighter for a start. They had to change gear ratios on ph2 to keep 0-60 times. If you want a load of extra crap that don't make you go any faster then go ahead. I mean cruise control cause of electronic throttle, I'd rather have cable throttle response. Then...
I tried AutoSmart Ali clean. Did insides good but still feel rough when try and wax them. Can't quite get them to gleam!
Is clay that good compared to acid?
