When I picked up mine I honestly thought they'd given me the wrong colour car!! lol I was expecting the deep blue instead of the racing blue! pmsl .... I'm glad now it is racing blue... it takes some getting used to but boy its a damn good colour!! ;)

If its the one round the track they have its the 1.6 cooper they raced it against, and if I remember correctly (coz its been on before) the Fabia pulled away on the straight! lol I dont know much about the clio DCi but if memory serves and I'm welcome to people telling me if I'm wrong here ...

Dunno if its standard Steve .. But from the outside its looks to be, its got all the standard outside trims/exhausts/wheels etc.. but even if it is, the guy driving is pushing that 172 round them bends and managing to keep the CTR going... Evenly matched motors.. Still good viewing though ;)

The only problem I see here is compaired to the VTR, they had to compromise top end speed in the VTS coz they altered the gearing ratio to give it the 0-62 time it has. so for top end speed the VTR and ultimately the 172/182 wins.. But there is a significant differance straight line power...

Thats why I posted it .... there isnt much difference as they look as though they're power to power round the track, but the guy in the clios out-performing the CTR round the bends and for the most part and you've gotta admit, hes flooring it on the outside and still managing to keep the pace on...

Your not on your own racing ... Halifax are quoting the same price for my first service too .... Mmmmmm, I might get that for free coz of their "nice" chip charge!!! lololol There is a plus to it .... they've got a FREE drinks machine !!!! pmsl

I did I took one on a test drive with my brother when they came out... For an extra 45 bhp its a quick motor.. Problem is we took it out on a damp road so stopping it from wheel spinning on power was a bit of a problem but its a solid car on the road and if I had the extra £££ I would have...

Its a bit of a bad do that ... Even more so coz the 182's are decent motors, Always remember " Where theres blame " .... You cant go wrong :)

This seems to be a comman fault with clios... I've NEVER kerb'ed my 182 but the steering wheels out already, mind you... My 172 and My RSi had the same problem, an off-centre steering wheel..

I had nothing but problems with them when I had my 172 but I think that was due to the 3 year doomsday bit!! lol But it looks like the area managers on my side so thats a very good sign indeed .... I wanna be there when the heads roll and the storm goes down!! pmsl :cool:
