    Pure Motorsport or BTM catback?

As above, Stock daily driven 182, now covered 73K on the OEM exhaust. To be fair theres nothing wrong with it, yet. However im aware it wont last forever. Im leaning towards the BTM item as it looks better quality, but is the Pure system better? Anyone own either care to share your thoughts?

Operation Slim-Fast is underway. Lost the light tonight so stopped there. Already lost a decent crate full of stuff.

Something that's been bugging me a while is that the Syvecs calibration switch comes with a numbered sticker. This sticker eventually starts to peel, or if like me you want to move the rotary switch, you need another sticker. Today I made up a small brushed stainless plaque and laser etched...

All new prototype Intake ducts are well underway. Still got a way to go to get the angles just right but it's getting there. They're much much bigger than the previous intakes and should feed the oil cooler and wing box far more efficiently. Should look pretty aggressive too. Sorry for the...

Work in progress, and I know this will split opinion. Will be sanded smooth and flocked inside and out to blend in with the rest. Taking a gamble but I think this is gonna look pretty cool. I've made a speed camera ;)

Made up a little sub loom to run the Toucan from using an ISO connector. It has everything you need, 12v live, Ign live, ground and illumination. Put it on Deans plugs as it's always nice and easy to unplug if I need to. Not wired in my sensors yet, but all cables have been run. Great to get...

Fitted new sensors for the Toucan and run the cables into the cabin. However I need to wire them into the Syvecs. In that note, I fancy changing the dash around again this winter. So decided I may aswell just take it out as it easier to get to everything and make everything neater. Going to...

A bit more work stripping the car of gauges. All the Defis are now sold and so are the steering column mounted wideband and act. The dash will be all coming out for a refresh soon anyway so wasn't bothered about the mess. Lol All out and tied up. Thanks to Tim @ JTi for the superb...

Not at all to be honest. However that's not exactly a real answer as I can hear little over the transmission, turbo and engine

Had the car up on stands as the wheels were getting the Michelins put on. Naturally the new Volks got clayed, polished and waxed. Glad I did as they came up pretty nice. :) While she was up on stands I decided to drop the arch liners and give her a good scrub. Dropped the discs off to...

I didn't buy them new. The cheapest I can find them is $850 per rim in the US. Then you need to add duty and vat. So probably around £3k by time they get here. I paid £1500 as they are and the Goodyears are going. I'll be putting my Michelin Pilot Super Sports back on these rims. The Goodyears...

Well after 9 years my cars worn gold wheels of some sort. It's was time for a change so I took quite a big punt on these. Always anxious of the murdered out black on black look. But I must say, so far I quite like it. So far I think it makes the car look pretty brutal even when stationary...

I too thought it was a 35 when I was removing it till I looked closer. Definitely a VF30, swapped for a 20g, then an FP green, GT3076R, now a GT3582R

My UK Prodrive edition version 7 had a VF30 on it, and yes it was the original turbo that it came from the factory with.

UK STI 7s. (Bugeye STI) came with a VF30, not a 35. Twin scrolls were not on the JDM cars till the version 8. The JDM cars also came with a quicker ratio steering rack.

The right discs and pads and the Impreza brakes are very good. Especially the oem Brembos. The performance friction compounds are superb.
