I took mine off an 05 plate back in 2008 and it left two slightly noticeable lines but i preferred the car without the stripes. If you take them off you will definitely have noticeable lines on the car.

It started off as a 1.2 (70bhp) then he put a 172 engine in (160bhp) so add those figures together, minus 10bhp for transmission loss makes around 220bhp!! simples

Hahahaa what a douche.. i for one believe the remap gained him 60bhp!! seems like a genuine enough bloke to me.

So your looking to mod the clio.. which i assume you wont tell your insurance company about.. which will void your 8 grand a year insurance.. so when you crash it they'll laugh and not pay out!! I guess its a fair to assume that all of Chale's threads are going to be reduced to 8000!!!! WTF...

When it came to doing my cambelt/aux belt at 72k i was strongly advised to have the dephaser done at the same time.

If i get another 1*2 it wont have wheels bigger than 15inch on it!! handlings better, tyres are cheaper.. no brainer in my eyes.

Cant really tell without looking under the car but could well be the exhaust!!

He cant expect top dollar for it if he didnt fork out to have the dephaser done when he had the belts done!! £600 or so to sort the dephaser when it needs doing!! It really is a buyers market at the mo and in this deal he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Yes once youve got your head round the fairly straight forwards process you can plug the rstuner into your car and remap it. Due to the cost of the maps your likely to pic one and use it rather than jumping between maps quite as frequently as suggested. I ran the 98ron map for 18months then the...
