i've driven an NA VX and an S1 elise and loved them, i think i preferred the VX to the S1. But for the 10k budget I had at the time the 182 was the sensible option as I couldnt find one I was happy with for the money. £1k insurance is a steal, nice work mate.

No negatives so far.... must be a record for an Inferno thread! :D although Rich hasn't been along yet ;)

awsome car Justin, im jealous. I should have always bought an Elise instead of the 182, but couldnt find a good one within budget. You're 2 years younger than me... who are you insured with and for how much. I had quotes on a standard 135 elise which were silly money! Christ knows how much...

Clio Trophy in Christchurch, Dorset yesterday around lunchtime... parked over at the retail park on Barrack Road A35. Don't see many around this neck of the woods.

i try my best... when you have a clean car in this weather it really stands out amongst the filthy motors which are patrolling the streets.

sorry mate, yes photoshop 7.0 camera is my old Canon IXUS 750 compact jobby. On manual mode with Vivid effect turned on. They're un-edited in photoshop apart from the border and size. the camera never fails to amaze me, although I would love a DSLR to go along side it.

select all > select > modify > border > 10px (for 800x600) > adjust brightness & contrast down low. You can then record it up as a batch process to add the border to 100s of photo's at once. some more pics: as you can see the car was already dirty again by this photo! ^ :(

thanks all... it did take me a while and it was raining throughout the whole detail too which wasn't easy without a garage. Yes i did the door badges myself The dodgy looking industrial estate is closed on sunday so perfectly quiet and ideal for photos. I could have gone into the New Forest...

720i and 1080p are the types of HD its compatible with, 1080 being the better one. built in DVB is a must, at least 2 HDMIs and a couple of scarts, Component input is useful.
