i like to stick with what it came with tbh as i know that i can press on without having to worry.
when you get the toyos im sure your going to have to tread carefully, or be unsure of what grip may available come a sudden corner if your driving out of the...
pe2s rule mate... i wouldnt skimp, we have all experienced shiite tyres and id rather pay £20 more a tyre than crash due to a inferior compound that didnt like a bit of standing water or something.
^^^ Awesome, spent the whole sunday in bed watching the racing at oulton park.
Why so harsh on chilton, we all need a few crashes to make it more entertaining. The last part of the third race was soo boring, hardly any action.
Yea was doing a run up to newquay in the middle of the night to avoid the traffic, just like 60-70mph as was in no rush. Still had like 2 notches left on the gauge when i arrived.
on the way back was a different story though lol. took about a tank and a half as the open road beckoned.
immense thread mate. Good to see someone just doing it rather than thinking about it, only for most of the people on here to talk it down and say its waste of money or the gearbox wont cope etc etc.
yeah there is a carbon bonnet on it, good eyesight... not going motorshow but a mates birthday bbq. just letting my mate drive as i was still in recovery from the previous nights drinking!
saw u yesterday mate by the connaught bridge roundabout... my mate was driving my black 182 doing a left towards the airport and you were just coming onto the roundabout.
car looked nice and fresh!
r26 r is sick, reminds me of the hatchback equivalent of the gt3 rs. I would pick one up now, but the head on me says wait for someone else to get one and let them take the 7-8k depreciation of the first year!
I got 42 mpg doing 60-70 mph to Cornwall over the weekend. Nice and relaxing driving in the middle of the night. Got 420 miles outta a full tank.
Pity I couldnt restrain myself on the way home though, the atlantic highway is awesome!
In my old 1.2 i had a 15" Solobaric square with a directed 1200d running 1 ohm, aparently 1.1kw RMS. The thing f**king pounded ass and no one ever wanted to sit in the back lol.
